Default Drs for Friday

Guys I am trying to get some DRs before Fridays next run. Ive asked this question before but only gotten minimal response because it was in an unrelated thread....I am looking at two different tires...

MT Et Streets

or

BFG Comp TAs

Im moving my kumhos up front...replacing the worn out visas...which tire would be best given my times? I really need to get my 60' times down below 2.0.

Thanks in advance bizitches...

Ben

Mickey T ET radials. Search for them on ebay, a guy sells them on there cheaper then you can find them anywhere.

Well I have gone through all those tires and more. And by far the ET street drag radials hook the best at the track and are good on the street. Not sure how long they will last though, but can't be any worse than the BFG Comps TA, they only lasted me about 3,000 miles on the road. Nittos are good tires, but for some reason they are not all created equally. I have had sets that hook up good, and some that didn't hook up at all. Might depend on what day of the week they are made. I will be sticking with the ET Street drag radials for now on.

Awww...Come on Ben. I think the car gods would look favorably upon you for such a noble act. Maybe they might nudge you into the 12s

Don't have em yet, but I'm going with the MT ET street radials myself, looks like I'll have to go with the 16's, the 17's are on back order for 2 weeks. Already called the guy on ebay selling them. He does have the best prices.

since Im down to the last minute and cant get MTs or BFGs in such short time and I really need tires too...would nittos be an alternative and a somewhat more 'daily driver' tire? I can order thos tomorrow and have them put on Friday morning...along with the installation of my new wind sail..just in case...

Or you could get some real track tires, and wait until next weekend. Dont cut corners, nittos suck.

If you're going to leave them on the car all the time, Nittos would probably be better because I think they get better wear.
