Barrett is one of the best places to go and cruise around and just hang out and see some pretty serious rides, but why the fudge would you ever drag race anywhere around there??? A friend of mine just bought an 01 cobra about 3 months ago, it was some rich guys garage queen so the miles were right at 15k and it had minimal mods such as ORX, Flowmaster 2 chambers, some UD pullies, and some nice gears(4.11 maybe)???So anyways hes just up there cruisin around with a few other stangs and a stg. II SRT-4 pulls up next to him and starts revving so sure enough they take off. Well the cobra wins but he says it was close and as soon as he shuts down here come the blue lights. So they both get taken to jail and the guy in the skittle was taping so the took it as evidence. Anyone know what the penalty is in GA for street racing and wreckless driving??????????

well he is 19 and he might possibly lose his license until he is 21. Well the brightside is that atleast he can keep his miles low and have money for mods and maybe a chance to pay it off when he cancels his insurance

Damn he got off lucky here in NC they will take your car for good and your stuck paying it off (if you owe) with nothing to show for but a loss of license for a year.

Yeah, I'll have to agree with that. The fines are stiff no matter where you get caught for that...unfortunately it was Cobb Co. so it'll be even worse there. I don't remember off hand....but I'm pretty sure the fines are normally up in the $k range. Not to mention he'll have to go back through the entire driver's test when they let him have his license back.

I got busted when i was 18 young and dumb it cost me a $600 fine and $600 for a lawyer the cops in cobb are dicks good luck with it, if they got it on tape his licenes is good as gone, i would get a lawyer i can give him mine if he wonts. you've got to get the right spot to race in cobb!

i lined up with a supra here in Dville last night at a red light and there was a cop in traffic that we didnt see. I lit em up for about 2 sec and then saw him and let off the Supra just took off and the cop went right around me after the Supra. Can we say lucky as ****?????
