I Scared A Couple Of Ricers At The Car Show
I went to the show out at Dave & Busters on I 85 north yesterday...great weather...not a cloud in the sky...it was pretty hot on the freshly paved paking lot...90 something for sure..I took a 2005 Corvette Convertible instead of the Z28..I thought that I might drum up a little biz...I wish that I had brought the Z28 too...it would have really scared the out of them.. ..20-20 hindsight strikes again..the F Body turnout was kind of small..there were 6 there and all looked great but a larger turnout would have been much better...it was kind of a ricer fest in general..not even much of a turnout of Mustangs either..I guess over the course of the day there were probably 15-20 Corvettes that made an appearance...the Vettes and the F Body cars were all parked together..but facing us on the other side of the row was the Subaru contingent..there must have been 15 of those blue WRX STI's sitting next to each other..all of the guys driving the blue Subarus were wearing blue matching T shirts...Geeeze it looked like a gay circus over there... ...anyway the Corvette I had there had a Corsa Sport cat back on it and I was talking to a guy that wanted to hear it reved up..so I kicked it a couple of times and it set off the alarms on a couple of the Sabarus...after I shut off the car I yelled over to them "hay I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare yalls little cars" ...needless to say none of the ricer crowd thought it was as funny as the Vette and F Body guys did... ...I just couldn't resist an oppertunity like that..

How often is the Dave and Busters show? Its not to bad of a drive for me. It is always nice to scare ricers, even better to out number them. There was a nce black C6 out in Doulgasville at the mall a week ago with some aftermarket exhaust and it sounded insanely sweet

You have got to admit. If you ride by abunch of the ricers and set off their alarms, it is funny as hell b/c the only way that they can do that is kick the car. All we have to do is just ride by... Good stuff!!!!

I must have been inside D&B's when this happened, but an alarm was going off when I came back outside. I was the guy in the WS6 T/A, only one there and parked 2 spaces away from you. It nice to meet you. As far as just having to ride by cars to set off the alarm's, I do it all the time at college. Especially in parking deks. What's really bad is when you set them off just stating the car. And mine is no where near as loud as it should be.

The D & B show is a yearly thing..but there are all kinds of shows around here...all the time..Year One has one each month some are combined with a discount $10 entry fee to the drag strip in Commerce for a test and tune night after the show..without the ricer herd screwing up the track and crowding the lanes

Old man My RICE wasn't scared of the C6. I was hoping you would do a few donuts before you left. It sounded good though. Must be nice to get to drive those cars around.
