well today sucked for me.. atleast i chose to goto commerce, not sdr. it blew up on motor, i didnt even get a chance to spray it. i think a rod let go. oh well.. anyone know of any stock shortblocks for sale? let me know. jerry, i might have a block for you. to make matters worse my wife(pregnant) was puking the whole way home on the ride in the towtruck. the commerce track prep seemed to be a lot better in my opinion. i wish i coulda ran some good times. oh well. it didnt seem like any fbodies were running too great of numbers.

Hate to hear this . I know with as much money as I have in my car , I would be totaly bummed at losing a motor . At least summer is behind us and you'll have a winter project now. I'm trying to look on the bright side for ya.

yeah.. lol 14.1 @ 104 i thought no way my driving is that bad.. so craig drove it 13.8 @ 103 and it broke... so it was way down on power, i wasnt really thaaaat bad, lol.

Was your car cammed or just boltons? Last time I talked to you in person was when you still had the Nova? Plan on going H/C with this setup?

It was cammed, but that motor has definitely seen better days. Dyno'd 404rwhp a couple weeks back but the oil pressure has been steadily dropping since.. No worries, I'll have it going back in no time, just need to find the shortblock 
btw i do believe i hit 13.6@106!! blowing up about 3/4 track. lol

I was bummed to see it happen too, but when your oil pressure is fluctuating like that on a high milage shortblock, it ain't likely to stay together long 
It just sucks it died before Craig could get down the track in it and get you at least a 12 second pass.

Wow that sucks man, If you need any help just shoot me a P.M., dont know much about a motor swap but can turn a wrench. Atleast you were not way down at SDR, commerce isnt so bad to get a tow from. You did say you had a "feeling" something might go bad

yeah, lol my "feeling" was something was gonna go bad when i sprayed the crap out of it, lol not on motor. atleast i will feel alot better i think with another shortblock. this one always seemed to have oil psi issues.
