Yes that is a good price Jimmy..the new Z06 weighs in at 3130 lbs. my F body weighs in at 3440 with almost a full tank of gas...I doubt the 300 lbs will make any difference in the capicity of the clutch..

My C5 Z06 clutch was doing great till I got up to where my HP is now...I going to put a set of heads on the car and be done with it for the most part..so I feel that this clutch is going to the ticket..It has a much bigger surface area that the C5 Z06 clutch...looks like about a third more area..won't know till I try it..everyone I've talked to that has done it really likes it..so I am going to give it a try...hay Mikey... I returned your parts today..I put them out on the trailer where you left them for me..thanks alot man!!!

I guess that because the pics were so old that you can't pull them up anymore..I get the same little box with the red x in the middle...anyone know why the pics can't be seen anymore???

Ordered mine yesterday. I wasted $940 on this Excedy single disc...I did drive a H/C 2002 Z06 with the SPEC II Kevlar clutch and it remined me of how my car was before the Excedy POS was installed. It will be nice to be able to slip a clutch again!!

Go to the LS7 engine section and look up the LS7 clutch pics thread..on the last page of the thread there is info on the Fadanza LS2 aluminum flywheel..there is a link on one for sale on ebay..you might have to look back about two weeks to find the thread..but it there and the flywheel that you want is available..I was considering it but I only go to the track once or twice a year..so the stock one will be fine for me

Steve, you got me wanting a LS7 clutch now. I was thinking about getting a SPEC 3, but I hate the fact that its a no/off clutch. I'll see how you like your LS7, when are you going to put it in?

I going to watch the outlaws sprints cars tonight and tomorrow night at Dixie Speedway in Woodstock and going to Atlanta Motor speedway for the Nascar race on sunday..probably will not get it in until the next weekend...I'll let ya know how it works out..I guess if you were going to be real serious about the LS7 clutch you could use the aluminum LS2 flywheel that fadanza makes and use the LS7 clutch pack...but I only go to the track once of twice a year so I went with the stock LS2 flywheel..anyway I'll let you know when I get it in..everyone that I have talked to that used it said it was great..had real good street manners and it hooked up great..that is what I am looking for

I'm going to be using one of these as well. I had a new '02 clutch put in when the stroker was done. It's been holding 538 + crank hp just fine for over 4K miles, the trouble now is a sticking clutch pedal. I figure I might as well upgrade to the LS7 while it's apart.
