Default Top Tuner in the South East

I am getting ready to do my heads/cam swap and install my nitrous system. I have access to HP Tuners, but I am no where near experienced enough to get the car where it needs to be without possibley causing damage or worse, trashing the motor.

So what I am considering is actually take the car to one of the TOP tuners in the south east, let them do a NA tune, and then a Nitrous tune. That way I have two base programs to work with for street and tracktime.

So I am looking from FL. to the Carolinas. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Jeff

There are many competent/qualified ls1 tuners in the South East.

Allen @ www.futralmotorsports.com is undisputedly one of the premier LSx tuners in the country.

I'm sure there are others that will be able to address your needs.

Allen futural is good, but you live in SC so the tune would be crazy off by the time you got it back there from Louisana. Something to think about. I would reccamend something around you same elivation you will drive the car at.

Does he have a web site? Or is there a way to contact him?

Thanks,

I have been messing with the HP Tuners with a friend who is pretty knowledgable for about 10 hours invested and the car still runs like total crap since the heads/cam change. I'm just ready to have someone do it and be done with it before something gets ruined on the car.

Take it to Jeff and get it over with....he tuned my tsp228 by mail.

Then i changed the cam to the trex and mail order tuned it good enough to drive it alittle. Took it to him and the baseline from the mail order tune was 411rwhp.

Ended up with good driveablity and 420rwhp. Not bad for cam only! Only thing its tuned in open loop, but no biggie.

Gomer. Hands down. He *really* knows his stuff. He's *very* reasonable on pricing, and also closer to you than Futral.

Not to say that Allan at FMS is an inferior tuner at all, I've heard lots of good things about FMS, and plan to get a FM13 , but I've dealt with Scott many times, and he's always helpful, and all around a good guy to deal with.

So I second Kevin, PM Gomer.

Give me a price for a full on dyno tune, and I would need it done on the 11th of this month if possible.
