well traded the ls1 off for a 370 iron block this weekend, and it is one sucky ride to new orleans by the way, while putting everything together i cracked the oil pan and also realized when i got back I didnt have any freeze plugs for the motor, hopefully by the end of the week i can have the motor in the car and start putting all the turbo stuff on,

im selling my draglites if anyone is interested!

im thinking about making a ride up there im really hoping i can get in the 9.8 - 10.2 range, i got craig marsh helping me out some so hopefully it will be done right. The 370 is iron block with H-beam scat rods, Mahle -15cc pistons, arp 2000 rod bolts, so i believe it should hold, i was hoping to run around a 17-18lbs of boost but the biggest spring i can get with the wastegate i got is 14lbs so i will just run that for now. You need to ride up and check it out hopingfully i will be putting it in the car saturday.

I'll contribute to the thread so maybe it won't die lol.

Gib and I got my TNT kit hooked up and it works perfect, I painted my LS6 intake and coil packs, took AC off the car, and did the wire mod. Now I just need to wash it and get some new pics. I apparently miss every car show in the state. Anybody know of any coming up?

Well my car ran an 8.71 last night in the 1/8 na. My damn 3.23's with a 6 speed are killing me. It did trap 87 so once it starts going it seems to pull pretty well. Hell it took me 1/2 track before 1st gear finally started getting into the power band.

That cavy is sharp. I noticed it has the B4C package "wheel covers". It must have an LS1 in it.

Firefighter, what were you launching at with your stock 10 bolt? I got 4.10's on the way and was wondering what it took to finally break yours?

I think 3500-4000 launches started the trouble, then it was downhill from there. I remember him telling me what finally broke it, but can't remember exactly what it was. I need some 4.10s myself, but I don't want too listen to it whine all the time.

Well 4.10's will be here today, I dont know when they will be installed. Looks like I'll be launching around 2500-3000 to try and save it.
