Our cams are tiny compared to what most people use now. I'm going to change mine out sometime and go bigger. It's been in the car 3 1/2 years now. About time for a change and I also will never daily drive the car again.

wahts a gomer tune? and i do want to DD this car ona regular basis.... 450 is way later in life but i need a good strong 80/20 street/strip car. i like driving thru town more than i like the track.... if i wanted a ***** out race car i would build me a rear engine dragster... this is kinda my cool *** fast ride....
so as far as cams go and stall converters what is gonna be the max i can do and still have a nice street ride with A/C and all the trimmins?

As far as cams and stalls go for a mostly street car, that all depends on what you can tolerate. Some people have a very loose definition for good driveability lol.
Jake's car is a good example of a fast street car that keeps good street manners. He could have probably went bigger with the cam and still kept very good street manners if he wanted because gomer is a very good tuner.

As for 450rwhp.. I would concentrate more on track times but.. Custom grind 230/232 .600 112lsa (something similar) PRC ls6 stg 1 or 2s ls6 (preferably FAST of course) should net you 450rwhp..
My Ms4 4400 stalled 410 gear car was sitting right around 425rwhp.. It put down 385rwhp cam only on the dyno in huntsville (trackmasters, not known for people who like to boast about dyno numbers

As far as limitations go, its all personal preference. I CAN DD my car if I chose to but some people would consider my car intolerable and I still have all the creature comforts. I would suggest talking to some locals and seeing how they are set up, and compare for your needs. My tastes are a lot different from everyone else's. I LOVE my car (more on the radical side) and even a 4.10 geared A4 with a 4K stall I wouldn't call too bad.

well here is the deal from a stop i got him all the way to 100 he spins a good deal and if he dont he cant launch hard enough..... now where it gets interesting is a 50 kick. he pulls me while my car kicks down to passin gear. but i quickly climb up on his ***, but once we hit 100 he starts crawlin up mine... acts like my car runs outa breath and planes out... and its a LONG way between the shifts so i loose some momentum 2-3rd..
now he aint stock but its just bolt ons on his car and he is a manual i got the auto....still that **** aint right... mine is bone stock firehawk not so much as a hi-perf oil filter
