lee just go head and break down and do a ls7 swap lol you still have a good dd then let me have the ls1 and we will all be good lol

an LS7 would be nice....... and the cobra is a guy named jason.... its red with black rims. its the older bodystyle around 98ish or so......... i just got a turn key quote on some kooks headers kooks y-pipe slp air lid and a dyno tune for 2100.... sounds awful high to me.... but thats turn key i wont have to do nothin but drive in come back the next day and drive out

also where is this gomer guy? is he local? and is he a dyno tune guy or just tune and try guy?

He is just your basic backwoods tuner. Sometimes your car will run but every now and then he can't do anything with it. He might pick you up 5-10 rwhp but that's it.......Homer is THE BEST dyno tuner in Alabama and I will put him up against any tuner you can find.

P.s. Going from a 50 Roll in a stock stalled auto is way to high. 20 Roll maybe.... But 50.....DAYUM!!!

that's not to high cause kooks headers aren't the cheapest plus the tune and labor but just order some and we'll but them bad boys in then carry and tune it but jason has more in that cobra than he is leading on i ain't seen it run but for a heavy body like that and just bolt on's he is a little to confident but i could be wrong

well i been under the hood and its not easily noticeable... it may be internal....i drove it and its strong for a stang... maybe mine aint runnin 100%??? or maybe its just choked down!.....

but yeah i thinkin bout some plain ole pace setter headers and y-pipe then carryin it to tune....

i think an extra 30 or so to the wheels would be plenty for now

Order the parts and we will install that ish. Figure 1100 for the headers and ypipe 75 for lid 250 for dyno tune and 80 for dyno time. Save some money on the install. Headers are nothing to put on.

thanks man i thinkin bout same but i wish i had a lift. but i can get the car in the air somehow!

and yeah jasons car is strong... we see how well it stands when i get the hawk to breathing

Kooks are the ****. I think that is a BIT high, but I believe new kooks/ypipe are a tad bit over a grand, more like 1300 IIRC. SLP lid new is 120 IIRC and a tune will run around 300-350..

He does a lot of tuning at trackmasters in Hunts. but there is another place more South he tunes at too I believe, closer to his home.

He is one of those "My tuner is the ****" tuners..

I would scratch any ideas you have about modding other than a 3600 or 4000 converter and a set of tires. Anything else is a waste of a first mod.. There is NO other mod (except nitrous) that will give you as much of an ET reduction as a converter and tires, especially for the money.
