Well, just got back from running the truck at steele. Spinning w/ a crappy 2.1 60' and having
it lay down about 100' out cause of a fuel issue then pick back up I still pulled out a 13.8@100!
1/8th was an 8.96@81.6. Not too bad for a N/A street truck. If I can get a little track prep
and buy a better short time once I get the fueling and shift points fixed I'll be close to
12.9XX's.
Gib ran a 12.1@ 118 having traction issues too.

yeah i made a couple passes, it went 12.5 at 119 spinning really bad because i tried to spray out of the hole (bad idea) then i went 12.1 at 118 but still wasnt able to spray out of the hole and im having trouble because its hitting rev limiter on the 1st to 2nd shift so im having to let off of it a bit to get it to shift. Its definitely will go 11.8 or 11.7 on a day where the track is preped and i get the shifting problem fixed. At the dyno we fiqured out that my timing is way off, it should be around 28 and mine was at 14, the knock sensor picked it up and got it to 17 but still it has some timing issues i have to get fix asap. Need to find someone with HP tuners for a 99 Corvette so that i can have it tuned.

Did you let some air out of the tires to help hook?

Damn, you did some damage! I just pulled mine last thursday and a crap load of spider gears are all broken. Nothing like yours though! As far as using the carrier, its hard to tell how far it grinded down the sides where the bearing goes. I know their pressed on there so it may have grinded it down where it will just slide off and on. Id prolly get a new one to be safe. You can pick em up on here for $75 or so.

I really hope it can be reused as I dont wanna dump any real money into this 10 bolt. If it cant be reused Ill fix it with the parts I have already, and drive it while Im saving for another if it cant be used then I will be down till I can afford my Strange Engineering 12 bolt

Well I figured out my fuel issues. It seems I had a short on my brake light circuit that caused
me to lose power to my fuel pump when I held the brakes on Anyway,
looks like that little deal is taken care of. Now I just need to do some suspension
and
chassis tweaking before I head back to the track and try for that low 13.x-high 12.x.
