I just looked in this thread. I'm in Trussville. I've got a 99 WS-6 A-4. Red with Zr-1s and an N.S.T. Performance sticker on the windshield. I just moved down here from Bowling Green, Kentucky. How's/where is the local track scene. I don't do street racing anymore, got into some trouble back up in BG. I love throwing down rubber at the track.

 

Go up 59 north to the Steele exit. Make a right at the end of the off ramp. Then make the next right(there is a sign, Alabama International Dragway) and follow that road. It ends at the track.

 

Good deal! Im only about 12mi from you up 59 north in Springville. Im always in Trussville, eating or passing through. If I see your car Ill be sure to say hey! I usually make it up there twice a year now a days. Back a couple years ago before I started breaking everything I was there every week. Theres a couple people on here that still go weekly. They are open on friday night 9pm-1am and open on sundays from 2-dark. Sundays are the best day to go, no all the rice cars up there and the track is usally prepped from the night before.

350z is right. Just hit 59n for about 30mi and get off the steele exit. Turn right, then right back right again and your there.

My GF seen your car the other day she said. She was telling me about a pewter Z28 with black wheels in Trussville so im assuming it was yours. Since mines pewter, when she see's one she tells me about it.

I have a NX Main Line wet kit for sale. The kit includes everything but the bottle. Asking $200 or will trade for Go Fast parts (cam, valve springs....) and i can give some boot depending on what it is.

I heard about your stage 2 weight reductions hehe. I hope you guys are writing this all down for me so I can follow along!

 

My bitch is gonna be so light it'll pull the front end on street tires. It should be ready to shoot for 11's on the Sumitumos on the 20th. I'm hoping to get the car under a 3400# raceweight, preferably closer to 3350#, then as I get more $$$, I can get $$$ weight reduction mods.

Oh yes... there will be 11.5x's in the car's future, SI.

 

Hey guys. I've posted some but just wanted to say hello to ya here. I read here-n-there and recognize a few names on here. 1QuickTA (Matt) is the only one I half way talk to in person. Maybe one day I'll be able to meet up with all of you. You'd probably recognize me as the only one on here with some gray hair! Also just bought another truck, making 3 trucks and 2 trailers now (when I'm gonna learn?!?!). So most of my time is on the road and workin' on them. Sometimes I do get the TA out. If ya see a black Ram Air with 315s and external wastegate cruzin' it may be me. BTW, did Matt ever get his motor back from Pilcher's?

Update for the C5, Nitrous is off the car and Turbo will be installed this week if everything goes well! I have a bunch of parts for sale if anyone is interested.

 

I would man, but im out of commission for a couple months. I made a big track at my dad's house and made two laps around it before I came up short on a double and went over the handle bars breaking my collarbone for the 2nd time. So im back in the figure 8 again for at least 4weeks then maybe another 3-4 weeks before I go ride again. Sucks! Its my right arm so typing takes some time now, lol.
