Well we are letting this thread die.. We cant let that happen.

So anyways here is the update on my car. I have everything to put it back together just gotta get my lazy *** up to my dads to do it . I'm just wondering how i'm going to degree my cam seeing as I dont have a degree wheel. . A frind has an old school 350 cam degree kit but im not for sure it if will work or not.

Anyways whats everyone else doing.

Ahhh you dont need to degree it.. Just slap it in there then install dot to dot and you'll be good.

Ive sold the 408 replaced it with a 01 motor stock heads with F13, traded the 4l80e setup for a built T56 setup so its now a 6speed and in the process of trading my sunoco hood for a factory SS hood. Im done with this whole racing thing for now, I just want to be able to enjoy the car again.

Well pred Z told me to degree it bc hes seen them as much as 2* off before. Which he said is enough to screw up my valve events. Hell i dunno I may just slap it in there anyways and call it a day. I just want it to have every bit of power I can get out of it.

I dont have insurance on it right now. It doesn't get THAT much better gas mileage than the trans-am. The T/A got better gas mileage than the v6 before the cam and all.

I've been trying to sell it, but people have to sell beat-up LS1 cars cheap so I won't get anything for it. It's sad when a car blue books over $8k and you cant give it away lol. I'll build a motor for it eventually I guess.
