Anyone ever had a Vasectomy? I have to get one tomorrow and just wanted to know how bad the pain is lol. I know I shouldnt be nervous but when ya got some doctor with sharp objects cutting into my junk it bothers me so lets here your war stories
My dad and two of my friends have had them. Lets just say that bags of frozen peas will be your new best friends. Personally, I would rather just *** on her face than have a scalpel anywhere near my friendly parts.
Well, I wish somebody would have told me this before I was in the middle of mine. If you have a hard time at the dentist, you'll have a hard time during the vasectomy 
I'd do it all over again though...the feeling of relief greatly over shadows the feeling of what if (or any pain you may experience)

I think I'd be a little nervous too.Do you really have to do this?Do you have another option(versus her having her tubes tied)?Was it your own choice?Hell.maybe you'll get some good pain killers.Hope everything goes well for you.

10 sperm samples...yeehaw....work-a-jerk FTW!!! I should get one...dunno why we havent seriously looked at that option. Isnt it done as an outpatient procedure? If so, it cant be tooooo bad. Let us know how much it is.....I need to get my junk modded!!!
It's actually a very easy procedure. Usually done on a Friday afternoon. My Doc told me to stock the fridge with Ice & beer. Once I was home, lay down on the couch in front of the TV with a berr in one hand and a bag of ice (or peas) in the other.
I know many people that have had the surgery. most were good / easy stories. You are fine to go back to work on Monday in most cases. Milk it while you can, cuz the wife will probably only give you this weekend off of any honey dues.
I have a high tolerance to pain killers to I could feel the scalpel and the doctor was surprised and gave me a couple of more shots, but I still felt it. Thats when he asked how I am at the dentist.
