I hope most of you that go will be there from 12-5 because I don't get off until 2:00 and it's about 45min to an hour from my house depending on traffic. I'm just asking cause I would like to meet some of ya'll if I haven't already. I also hope to be breaking into the 12's that day also so hopefully I will see most if not all of ya'll there. Later

This looks to be a good thing we have started here with LS1tech St. Patricks Day Bash. I just wanted to remind everyone that this is our first attempt at organizing a group event and we used LS1tech.com as the avenue to start our communications. I don't want you ford and mo-par guys to feel like you were left out, you are welcome to come on out, ( come one, come all ). I would still like to see us LS1 Ark La Tex guys make this our event and also to keep it going. Again I would like to invite all that can make it to Red River Raceway on Jan. 20th ( test & tune ) to come on out. We will try to finalize the program for March.

For those of you going saturday to talk to ken and molly do not let them mandate street tires only!! Let any tire into the field because not every one can hook on street tires or DR's. I got booted out of the shootout 3 years ago at RRR becuase i was on ET Drags, they said that i was not a street car running slicks!?! The track prep is good until you start running into the 60ft. range of 1.60s then it goes to **** unless your running a good slick.
Remember not everyone coming to this event are bolt on cars! There are supposed to be some very fast 9-10 second ls1 showing up for this event,so i say no rules on suspension, weight or tires. Run what you brung and if you get beat then motivate yourself more for the next event.
It's time to start getting your car ready for the event:cam swap, heads, dumps, taking weight off the car, wiring up the nitrous kit, slap the charger on and get the 60fts down because this kind of thing will bring the boogey man out of the closet for a race like this. I heard through the grapevine an old friend is coming back into the racing scene but that is talk until i see it.

It doesn't look like the weather is going to be very good Saturday for test & tune at Red River Raceway as the high they are calling for is like 48 to 50. Just watch the redriverraceway.com for them to post what's up. Molly & Ken just returned from vacation and I'm waiting to hear from them. We will go down the 1/4 mile on street tires, radials, snow & mud tires, drag radials, slicks or just about anything that rear can turn. Just everyone remember it is early in the year and that means a cold track, race safe. Bring a safe car as the track always has the last say.
