Everyone needs to know that Molly Hall from Red River Raceway email me today for details so she can place us on 2007 Schedule. All I could tell her was that we would be there on March 17th 2007 with 25+ cars. Now i will let ya'll know that I told her we would appreciate Red River's help. And as I'm writing this I'm thinking that may be just the thing to do. Let the track run the cars and we'll party together.

Yea, we should try to keep it simple the first time out. If it works out good maybe then we can work on some type of format for the next time. We're running out of time fast!
The first thing we need to know is how many people are going to be there. It's hard to make up classes without knowing what people can run. Maybe start a new thread just for people to sign up and list their mods and times? We could get us a list of names going, and then maybe come up with some classes that would be fair to all.

I like it cainsw, I've been trying to keep a list of those who say they are coming. It doesn't have any information on what they are running (car wise or times). It would be good to know where you live, what you are bringing, and times if you have made any passes. The show is a go..... let us hope for good weather on March 17th at Red River.

You know, a 10.0 index racer can race a 12.0 index racer. Like bracket racing but not really. So we could have a 10.0, 10.5, 11.0, 11.5, 12.0, 12.5 & 13.0 classes. Then there could be no sandbaggers like in bracket racing. Get in the index you are closest to, but everyone would be able to run in the same class.
Run a pro tree. (example: 11.0 runs a 13.0-13.0 gets 2 sec.leave. Either car runs faster than their index, they lose)
We get there and get 3-4 timetrials then decide what index you are (example: I would be index 11.5. Write 11.5 on the car) and start racing! The track personnel can line us up by pulling cards. No need for 100 different classes and qualifying. That is the easiest way to keep it simple and easy to keep track of everyone.

The first time I ran my car, I didn't know I had a bad tune from previous owner. Ran consistent 13.4 @ 109. Have since gotten the tune and some drag radials, but haven't been able to get back to see where I'm at. RRR is supposed to be open Jan. 20th so hopefully I should get some times then so I'll know where I'm at to help ya'll out if we do index racing. I know the car has 12's in it like it sits with my mods, but just don't know where in the 12's I'll be.

I guess its time I made my presense known on the thread. HAHAH! Yes the torque arm twisted as I found the limit 1.49 on stock arm didnt like it to much. As for a challenge, lets see, i have stock heads,stock 4l60e,SMALL cam and untuned ran 10.8, not saying to much when someone i know of ran 10.5 with HEADS big cam,th350,Big nitrous etc. But let the **** talking start... im ALWAYS ready for anybody it doesnt matter, you win and lose, I dont drop all my money into my car to try to be the fastest also like the above mentioned car. Let the rumors begin also since exile always wants harvey to find out about peoples setups... I heard a new setup was comming in a blue Z and also Streetstalker.. I know whats up scott hahahahaha thanks for the beer lol! As for a shootout why not have a bracket class and heads up class, thats the way its always been in the past. BRING IT BITCHES! Im back and in a better mood than ever. Lets do the damn thing.

lets see brian you dont know as much as you think that 10.50 run was with old 98 mms heads that were on my red ta. the so called big heads were not on the car cause i didnt buy them till MAY of 06 and the last time my car was at the track was MARCH go ahead and check with TSP im sure scott can pull some strings for you but have since been traded OOPS! as for the big nitrous since when is 150 huge and setups you sure seem to know alot about my setup or think you do anyway
