Default header and exhaust install in Little Rock

in a little while, I'm gonna buy pacesetters, off road x-pipe, to duals out the back under the axle. Where did all you fellows get your exhaust stuff done at?? Would I need some sort of trailor as well? appreciate it.

Arkansas Performance Exhaust. That place is awesome. They have a mandrel bend machine for your custom set up ie: true duals. If you're going to install ORX, I suggest that you bring your car to A.P.E. on a trailer. The owner pretty much has to know you or trust you if you want him fab/weld you a catless exhaust system. As far as longtube headers install, you're going to have to do it or PM JeffT or talk to Kris Keltner, they both have a bay w/ lift/s for them to do it or pay them to use their bay for you to use.

I installed my LT headers by myself w/ a lift on base and it took me 11 hours w/ all the tools I need.

Yea, LT's aren't too bad. There are enough of us that have done them, and once you do a few, they go in quick. I got my Bullet welded on at APE, the rest I did myself. I have Pace Setter LT's, ORY, no Cat into that Bullet.

thanks fellas. It'll be a few months till I get the funds. got about 800 now but that's prob not enough for everything. I'm the most average of people when it comes to install. I put my pro 5.0 shifter in but I shurly couldn't do headers, so if any of ya'll will do it for me I'd be glad to pay you, knowing that you have the exact same car as me and you won't eff it up. I guess I'll have to drive to APE with open headers with someone they know real well.laters

Your LS1 is pretty easy.. it's narrower than a LT1, there is a little more room in there.
Just un-bolt the Motor Mounts, take out the Steering Shaft linkage, and jack up the Engine

Yeah, the headers are cake on the LS1. I didn't unbolt anything, they just slid right in as most Pacesetter's do. You may have some slight binding on the drivers side with the block, but a dremel tool and 30 seconds will fix that. It took me 7 hours total to do mine.
