Unfortunately for us minor modded, stalled A4's, Cruell can row the gears with the best of them. Add to that M6, cam, good tune and highway runs....I have a feeling Cruell is gonna be waving bye-bye.

My bad Bene. Sounded like Shane was saying Keltner was putting on some nitrous with the rearend. I was kinda hoping you would too.

I've been really thinking about doing it. I've convinced myself to hold out and save for H/C....but sometimes it'd be so nice to open a bottle and skip from 12.9's into deep 11's. I'm trying to hold out, but I'm so tempted to just say screw it and buy some. You only live once after all .

The only thing is nitrous can play a big part in your camshaft descision. So make up your mind. You could always just ditch your 241's get a stock set of 243's and a mild cam and then the juice.

Well, if I go the nitrous route, it'll only be 100-150 dry and only for occasional use. I've been talking to Rhino79 about this and I agree with him about not picking cam based on nitrous. I don't know what cam I'm gonna run yet, but nitrous won't have any bearing on my choice. If/when I run the juice, I realize I may not get the full effect, but it will be enough for what I'm looking for. My cam will not be mild!

Yea, I believe in straight-up guts. A guy I know is all Mustang crazy, I told him that those little 4.6's need the Super Charger to get their power, Chevy has always done it with displacement and guts. Now the rumor of the LS7 that is supposed to be supercharged in the Z06, that will be nuts..

I think nitrous is fine....and I will be getting some in the future. I just don't wanna hear anyone say "well, you cheated cause you used the juice." Like Bene said, it's run what you brung. If I can get 11's for $500 bucks versus over $1000 with a cam and the supporting mods, why not? It's there when you want it, and the cheapest horspower there is. I will however do the cam as well, so I can run both ways. Either way, you earn your time regardless of whether you run nitrous or not. It's just another way to get to the desired goal. No different than H/C or FI.

I would definitely remove the Mach 1 from that philosophy. I've run across several and they are no joke. They are a perfect match for a stock LS1, and with a few bolt-ons, they are nasty. That's one 4.6 without any power-adder that runs fine the way it rolls off the assembly line. And it just gets better from there.
