I agree Shane, stock for stock the LS1 has the upper hand on the highway....but trust me, they aren't far behind. There's an orange one on base that I have heard runs pretty good. He's got full exhaust/tune and not sure what else. Not saying he'll bother any of us, but if he can drive it he'll hold his own. Should be 12's no problem with some traction. He's going with us, so we'll see how well it does. My '00 SS had lid/exhaust and my buddies Mach had intake/exhaust also. Those cars are damn quick off the line and not shabby on the highway either. We both knew how to drive our cars and the outcome was always the same. I respect them and I would have one if money wasn't an issue...as long as I could have my LS1's also.

yea thats my buddy watson w/ the orange one and hes going...hes got CAI, prochamber and a FEW other things....tuned on his little predator...but dont let it fool u....not knockin some of u guys but u take him lightly and he gonna leave you behind...he STILL wants to run me....last time i raced him i took him by 2 1/2 3 and i didnt come out smashin it(i didnt wanna hurt his feelins 
) ....that was BEFORE my tune....i told him if race u this time im gonna lay into ur ***....memphis is gonna be interesting.....lol some of might get sprayed w/ oil....ahhahaaa

hopefully I will finish my car tomorrow or Saturday. I am really close but still don't know if the tune will be close enough to go thrash it. We can only hope. Centerville is open Sunday.

Zach you mgiht not actually like the turnouts at memphis. If he can launch that car you will have alot of room to make up. But hell you have on emean car on top end. We shall see!!!

I'll be at Memphis, hopefully I'll also be meeting up with you guys to head up I-40. I'm going to race, even though I'm slow as hell. I'm also planning on bringing my video camera and tripod, but I'll have to have one of my friends running the cam.
Maybe I can get into the 15's lol
edit - The only thing I'm worried about with this memphis trip is that there are so many people going, we might not get very many runs in.
