Centerville results Thought I'd post up some results and get some from others. My limiting factor was traction...I got similar results on street tires as I did with the Nitto's. But I think I figured out a recipe to make them work. My best pass today was 10.53 @ 98.10 with a 1.90 60'. I spun bad on my first four passes and assumed I would on my last pass. I dropped the pressure to 13-14 psi and hooked, but didn't give her hell until 1.1 seconds into the run according to Ryans EFI Live log. I really wonder what the time would have been had I hit it hard on the launch. But instead I pedaled it off the line and it took me a minute to realize I wasn't spinning. Either way, probably going to Memphis the week after next to see if I can improve on that. Not what I wanted to see today, but definitely have some room for improvement. Let's see some other results.
yea ole nic had traction issues as well...i think his best was 10.7 w/ a 1.7 60ft at 102mph...he had problems gettin it into 3rd the rest of the afternoon though 
....so i took it for a spin and got into 3rd fine so uhh we are just gonna work on his shiftin skills...but for his first time at the track he did GREAT

Nick's best was a 10.78 @101.47 with a 2.1 short time. I ran him that time and got a 10.78 @97.89 with a 2.0 short time. 6-speeds really put down the trap speeds as we all know.

99hawk262, I was the one you ran against when you ran the 10.53. You launched hard as well I was like, "wow he just put like 3 cars on me." I was pissed off today. I got there late, I had the slowest Ls1 there and the best I could do was an 11.36 @95 mph. I had traction off the line so I guess I'll just blame the wind?? cause I've ran and 11.20 before.I thought bene was there, but I guess not. That pewter camaro with the black berger and chrome zo6's looks just like benes, only standard. Does anyone know what broke on that white diesel? I was leaving and I heard the turbos spool then it just stopped.

4k stall, m/t radials, 7.5" 10 bolt= BOOM!!!!!! I told merv when I sold him the DR"s. I have read many times people goin from nitto's and regular bias ply ET streets to these M/T e/t street radials and blow diffs. He did it in a matter of like two weeks.

Yea, and that was on a 25mph roll with a stock Stall. Got new Motive Gears and a Shim Kit on the way, bought them today. Killed the Tranny also, that's next to fix. **** happens..

Yeah, I only have the basic bolt-ons right now. If I can achieve 12.20's-12.30's with traction I will be thrilled. But that's gonna be a hard time to crack without better tires. We'll see what happens at Memphis. I expect better track prep and I have an idea on how to get a better 60'. I'll probably go the week after next on Tuesday night. Got some minor adjustments to make to the tune between now and then....it's getting KR on the 2-3 shift and pulling 3.XX degrees of timing. Ryan has some ideas we are going to try.

i'm still stuck up here in spokane, i'll be home around the 10th next month. i've got wheels and over 2k in suspension waiting in the garage, i'm anxious to see how i'll match up...
