Yeah, I know.... that's what I meant.... some DR's and the ET will match the trap. That's Looooow 11's on a real tire.

Thought that was you on 20, but wasn't sure.

I actually think it was good luck about the wheels. Evidently they've been cracking on the inboard side for awhile. Had I trailered the car home, I'd have never seen the cracks comeing through the outboaed side of the spokes. Was just enough more street time to finally crack through all the way.......

Could've been bad ugly at 130+

Yeah you might as well look at the bright side. Are you going back with bogarts or something else a little stronger????

Yeah... it's real dumb loud in the car

Been lookin' hard at what's available in a drag rim. Not much out there that fits or that I like other than the Bogarts or the high end Weld's that only come in a 6" max back space.

Dunno at this point. Looks like mini tubs and a cut rear would open up a world of wheel choices but I'd be outa' commision for awhile

Gotta feeling that even if I go back to Bogarts it's gonna be a few weeks before I'm back in the seat.

It's ALWAYS sumptin'

Got any pics of that and which Bogarts were they? I'd like to see so I can look at mine, mine are some of the frst LS1 wheels they made.

Maybe talk to Steve and see if they can hook you up on a replacement pair at a better deal. Nothing wrong with a set of prostars for the time being if you have drag brakes on the rear - the 15x10 prostars are actually street legal wheels.

KP.... no drag brakes yet. Don't have pics but may be a mute point. I think I'm at fault this time.

Cut the spacers off and prolly didn't do as good a job a I could have. Took a small air angle grinder w/a cut off wheel to the welds on the spacers and appears as though I created stress risers in the back of the rim for a place for the cracks to start.

Thought I had them all smoothed down but apparently not.....

Talked to Steve. He's sending out replacement centers. Gonna be about three weeks before I can get back in the seat.

Expensive lesson learned.

I was thinking of cutting the spacers off on the fronts but I never got around to it, probbaly a good thing I didnt.

I have a extra set of 15x10 7.5 BS prostars with like new 28x11.5 QTPs/tubes/screws and if they fit you are more then welcome to use them. I ran 9.40s on the QTPs for a DOT race last summer and havent used them since. I am going to put slicks on the wheels for a spare set so you are more then welcome to borrow them and burn them up - just have to come up here and get them and get them back here when you are done

Damn Kevin.... that's one hell of a kind offer, and I do appreciate it! Thanx bud.

I think what I probably "should" do is take advantage of the down time and paint the inside /outside of the house..... pressure wash the driveway..... finish clearing out the back lot..... and build the shed in the back..... while I've have time.

.....just like I old Momma I would(didn't "really" think I'd get to it anyway once the car got back from Vengeance ).

They just don't seem to do much painting at the track

Thanx again!

Oh yeah.... in talking to Steve @ SJM today, he said there would be no comprimize in structural integrity of the wheels w/out the spacers as long as you don't nick/cut into the wheel surface leaving a stress riser or "control joint" for a place for a crack to begin/form.
