I'm 20 minutes north of LA in arkansas. I would love to do a cruise with some of the local guys down to Baton Rouge or somewhere. Depends on what day you do it i can join up with a few others from up here and ride down.

Somewhere close to Baton Rouge or New Orleans would be well suited, as some people from out of stat actually visit there. 
There' s something to be said about the small towns and out of the way places though. I' ve wanted to set up a show/gathering at Oak Alley for years. Definitely one of the more easily reckognized locations, with a lot of parking, and scenic backdrops.

I'm in Baton Rouge. Got a new turbo motor we are finishing up tonight. Should be running by the beginning of next week. I would like to go for a cruise and check out all the ls1 cars around here.

SHREVEPORT/BOSSIER ~ THE BIG TWIN CITIES
All us north Louisiana guys need to meet up with the Texarkana bunch & cruise on up to either Mena, ARK. Then across the mountains to Queen Wilhelmina restaurant for lunch then on across the top of Taliheina mountains scenic drive. Its about 90 miles of scenic smooth two-lane black top carved out of the top of some of the most beautiful mountains this side of the smokeys. With a scenic overlook parking about every mile or so. Just beautiful. The bikers love it. They come from as far away as Dallas just to take those long increasing radius curves. So pull off those T-tops and let down those convertible tops grab the ole lady & your camara and lets plan a REAL CRUISE this summer before it gets too damn hot.
