once we put the trans-brake in, we should be able to come off the line with 700ft lbs of torque at full boost. This means we may have to cut a hole in the floor so Shane can see his way down track. LOL

Today (Sunday) Shane and I were able to get a few other things done on the car. We wired the new 4L80 harness to the ECM, wired the clutch switch to the P/N switch, wired the reverse lights to the gear selector switch, custom mounted the electric cut out switch in the dash panel and ran the wires, notched the trans tunnel for clearance for the 4L80 trans plug, and put every thing back together inside the car. right now the trans is back out of the car so we could do the above.
Sorry guys we did not take any pics today.

Where the shift cable attaches to the trans, you want need that black box with the female connector ends. Theres nothing you'll have that plugs into to it so you could take it off and junk it.

i have the short gear selector shaft on my 80 and do not have that big ol box
just run the clutch wires to the switch on the shifter and thats it. def. dont need whatever that thing is.
curious what record is being gone after with this car?
and were you saying this car ran consistent 9.0's w/ 6 speed?
i have a yank 3000 and it is too tight but has great street manners, will look for 3600 or so on the restall.

We run a EFI class at our local 1000ft track. Record is 8.16 @ 126 mph.
car ran 9.0 @ 122mph with the M6
We are still waiting on the yank PYE 3400.
I thought the 3000 would be to tight.
