David is going to be fine. He broke the T9 and T10 vertabrae. They are going to put him in a custom back brace for awhile.

From the family...

Just to give an official update on David, he has a fractured vertebra in his lower back. According to his neurosurgeon, he will not need surgery, but will have to wear a custom made back brace for several months. We just thank God David is okay, although he has a long recovery ahead of him.
