hahaha are you ******* crazy dude......somebody needs to ban this fool he takes this WAY to serious......and my car makes good power but the weight is what holds it back...its a heavy car...and a racer know that power to weight is big deal...every 100 pounds it .1...from what ive been told....3900 pound car with a driver

I have a pretty stock 99 z-28 mac mids no cats ported tb and maf, stock gears with a ram powergrip, will line up with any mild modded mustang without thought. I also have a 98 corvette with a vararam intake and traction crap taking out, would line it up in a heartbeat awesome traction. Haven't been beat by anything on the street, although I don't prowl around much I like the track best and both cars are in the 12s with vette slightly faster. also both pushing low 8s in the 1/8 and that is with street tires and a crappy 2.xxx 60ft

yeah man im not gunna not buy a car due to its weight...i loved the car and still do..for the weight of the car and the few mods i have my car runs really good..il run some guys see what happens and go from there...i have all the respect for the LS1...not as much for the LT1 but im sure a few of you guys can change that

Yeah I also have a 408 motor going into the vette soon...been sitting in my garage for like 3 months, just too lazy to put it in. That motor will be around 550 at the wheels and is built for like 400 shot. also will have to roll cage the vette and not sure I wanna do that should take me into the 10s pretty easy.

I had an 89 mustang but handled like crap, so went to 97 SS, loved it then my 99 loved it even more, then 98 vette and all I can say is wow. Mustangs are cool and cheap but when it comes to modds they get expensive and you just don't get the returns, the cobras have super chargers and my vette still rocks em with just a vararam intake, put a super charger on the vette and well end of story. LSX cars are awesome easy cheap power. Although for some reason the LS2 GTOs aren't all that great, my vette woops up on them too pretty easy. Now the LS2 Vettes are a whole different ball game. And we don't want to even talk about the LS7 they are just raw!

well to be honest i know alot of LT1 guys that think they are better than LS1's NOT TRUE LS1s are better but LT1 are no slouch either. i mean for early 90's technology its runs damn strong and to run high 13's stock isn't bad at all.

thats ok let them think its slow just makes the look on their face when they lose that much better.

You are a ******* giant Douche!! I have NEVER ran a STOCK LS1 slower than 13.3. I have with the exception of ONE BONE STOCK ls1 ran no less than 13.0's @ 108. I have plenty of friends who have seen it. One of which was a 30th anniv. t/a with less than 1000 miles on it. 13.01@109. I believe the timeslip is available and that was as the car rolled out of the showroom, paper filter and shitty Eagle GSC's and all.
