A mixture of trying to keep the rear together and not destroy the tranny and keep from spinning! The way I raced it today is the way I drive it all the time. Now I have to decide what to do as far as making it faster and quicker.

I was going to, but saturday night we got a new puppy and we counldn't leave him home alone all day. He was definetly not riding in my Z06 all the way down there. I was wanting it to be a little cooler as well. The Nov 24 race at silver dollar is looking good

Well it really depends what you want to do, its hard to keep it a fun street car and get he ETs way down. Good rear, strong 6 speed, some slicks and a 2 step should get you in the 9s and there are very few M6 turbo cars in the 9s.

But then again its always pretty cool to put a TH400 with a brake in it and see what it will do. Only probllem with that is if you want to show it off at bigger events you need a cage, license and all kinds of stuff to keep it legal and that kills the fun of driving it around.

he will prolly have to do like me and have a compromise of both. SDR and Steele will let Chris run in the 9s as is so all he needs to figure out is tires/rear/tranny. He likes the 6 speed so I would say slicks...9" (he already has it) and not too hard of a launch. a 1.5x 60' woulda had him in the 9s easily on slicks and shouldnt be too hard on the tranny. He will be in the same boat as me...have to use a lot more power than necessary to get the car into the 9s.

Well, to be honest it is more my wife than anything! She dosn't want it to "LOOK" like a race car when we go to car show's and cruise's.She want's it to look like a street car but I can do whatever as long as we can still go and cruise around with it and not have no problem's.I talked her into lightening it up so that will help. She really dosn't care about the tranny as long as we can still go cruising! That is her biggest thing.

I like the 6 speed for the fun factor, but a part of me want's to put a th400 in it to see what it will really do at the track.?

my car doesnt look like a race car at all, thats why it gets a lot of attention, you can go pretty far and still have a street car look. Its a tough decision, IMO its best to have one of each, quick street cruiser and a race car

I'm lucky, my wife enjoys going to the track and she has zero interest in cruising the car around. Which is good because I have zero interest in cruising the TA around too..

My wife like's the track also, but just like next month,we going to the "cruising the coast" in biloxi. She just want's to make sure as I do that it can be streetable enough to do these thing's without problem's. I guess I have never rode in a car with a th400 in it. I am leaning toward's that direction though!
