Schedule ? I would like to, but i have to work. I work every weekend. Off on mon & tues here. Whats everyone elses schedule look like? Thats why i wanted to shoot for the 12th. I put in to have a paid day off. And i figured it would give everyone time to get over xmas and to plan for out next cruise. I am always free on my days off tho.

well first dont say "you guys" bc this conversation wasn't between more then just a couple people. me not included. second of all no one said two guys run this car club. everyone makes decisions of their own. do what the **** you wanna do. period. also, just bc you take pride in the appearance of your car doesn't mean you aint a real car guy. just like a beautiful woman comes in different shapes, true car guys have different priorities. no two are exactly the same. i was told before our first meet by someone that this might not be the car club for them, well fine, do what you want, do what you been doing, nobody cares. i dont understand all the whiny baby ****. i dont wanna go beat on my car every weekend or every other weekend at the track. also, im the type of guy that wouldn't be caught dead with a set of painted silver SS wheels on my car . my .02.

this is hilarious.
I like to go to the track when i can. Just hard for me cuz i work everyweekend. No telling what this weather around here is gonna be like from day to day. If its not too cold, I'll be at RRR by myself or with you guys from here hopefully on the 12th. Yall cruise and do what you want, I will try to make a showing no matter what yall are doing.

No taws6m6 I didn't know your name was Chris, I was talking to cainsw also Chris. I guess I'll have to be a little bit more clearer from now on. cainsw and myself set up LS1 races at Red River Raceway for the guys & gals that like to test themselves on the 1/4 mile, as we try to keep the racing off of the street & on the track. We have a pretty good turn out of LS1's from around the Ark-La-Tex that show up anywhere from 20 to 50 cars. That is what I was trying to bring to this club, anyway you are welcome to race with us anytime. We have big plans this year ( see other thread ). Have a great new year, Wayne

dude, my bad! i thought you were insinuating that some of us on here (particularly the guys that "cruise") were not car people. and that real car guys race. my bad, sorry i got involved.

Frame work? Welcome to the site 02SSCamaroKid, damn you have alot of issues. If you can do any of the things yourself do them. Other then that find a good shop and they are going to charge you by the hour. I use Lites Muffler at 1404 N. Market St. phone # 222-3424 for my exhaust work Roger is a good guy and will stand behind his work. When I had my L/T Jet Hot headers installed I did away with the cats. Kittler's did the install, but I had to take it to Lite's to fix their work ( broken hangers, & hitting floor pans ). Hayne's Hot Rod's did my rear, frame connectors, torque arm, LCA's & other stuff, but they are no more. Cainsw & myself play around at the track and he will not steer you wrong on your racing issues.
When you said Hayne's Hot Rod's is no more did you mean there shut down? and if so where can i get frame work done? Does anyone know?

ah, you probably mean for putting in subframe connectors. In that case I don't know. You can use my welder if you get inspired and feel like doing some work yourself.

Yes Coleman had to shut down Haynes Hot Rod and I really miss them he keep my SS running the way I liked and his dad Roger did the same on my bike. Frame work?

heres my new years resolution... cam swap, all the supporting mods, ls6 oil cooler, ls2 timing chain, tci 3500 stall, tranny cooler, LT headers... but all this may not happen,because something is messed up with my car right now. when i put it in reverse it starts shaking really bad, so i hope its not the rear end going.
oh by the way chris (taws6m6) i found out it is when i put it in reverse and then start moving, so i dont think its the tranny.

believe it or not im getting a comp cams cam pkg for under $400. hooker headers for under $300, tranny cooler is just nickel and dime ****, so is everything else. all of it is brand new **** from oreillys.
FWIW my friend gets some of the best deals in the world. he paid 35 buck for a radiator for his toyota 4runner that was $150. so im set for a while. lol
