If I was running 11.29s on a 224; I'd probably leave it in there. What other cam do you have? That's a pretty good 60ft. By pretty good, I mean way better than I've ever done. What rear end/gears/launch rpm?

The cam I pulled the 1.59 with is a Comp 228/228 581/581 112. I've pulled probably 30 1.60x's but I finally got my 1.59. I have a spooled 9" with 4.11's on 15x 11.5.15 ET Streets.

My car is light. It is a factory stripper but it is good for 11.6's full weight in decent weather. It now has weight removed it runs consistent high 11.4x's low .5's. Remember, it is alot more than just the cam. It's all about the total package

It takes the total package. You have to be willing to wring a 6 speed out if you want it to run. I leave the the line at between 55-5800rpms. If you can't get it off the line it will not run the number. They will not run if you are not willing to launch with alot of RPM. Weight does have a lot to do with it also. It is a full bolt on car. Here's my mods.
Modified Mac headers/ ORP
Dual 3" exhaust with bullets
Spooled 9" 4.11's
Weld Wheels 15x3.5 fronts, 15x10 rears 26x11.5x15 ET Streets
BMR LCA's /LCA relocation brackets airbag
Spec3 adj master
TR224 cam/Comp 918 springs
Spohn body mount Tq arm
FAST Intake
Ported TB
Whisper lid/cut airbox
LS1Edit
6pt Roll cage by Gary Medders
I think thats everything
