I had a Lou's short stick in mine, I took it out and gave it away. The stock shifter is superior, I think.

I got a pro 5.0 and never looked back. All I heard from them are good things so thats what I bought and I will NEVER go back to stock shifter.

Do you guys have an option (I am in a meeting or I would check) for MGW?

I know the Frod guys swear by them, I like the way the throws are shortened and stiffened.

That would be nice if you've got a nut that will fit. I cut mine by hand with a hacksaw and it threaded fine.

Nic has a short stick for the Pro 5.0 that he's not going to use. $20 and it's yours. It's the shortest stick I've ever seen in a 6-speed car, but it's nice and not too short. He lives around the block from you.

+1, I cut about an inch and a half and it's perfect. It threaded just dandy.

I got the pro 5.0 shifter and stick you can try it out if you want to see how it feels and look at the lou's short stick that has been shortened an inch. $20 and you can have the lou's. let me know if you want to look.

This is the factory Hurst shifter with a short stick that has been shortened a couple of inches...it shifts great..I can't see spending any $$$ when this setup works perfect for me.

Pro 5.0 so far is the best, but I agree about shorting is about an inch.

Everyone swears by a B&M or 5.0

I wouldn't mind trying one, I still got the Hurst.

Tell you what... I just found my hacked off Lou's short stick on the billet SLP base. I thought I gave it away but I guess not. If you want it, you can have it, if you can come get it.
