I live in NO and have seen a few look alike LE that i have never seen before in the past two years, and now you see all these pieced together cars running every where! It could just be a broke guy or some other reason, but it just seems so fishy with all the **** that has been happening around South La lately!

Atleast if they were on a lot they had a little bit to hide them, not like pulling a motor out at 3a.m. on the side of the street! Hard to find noone heard or seen anything! I think that is half the problem people are scared to stand up and say something in most cases!

Husband, wife and teen sons charged wtih stealing over 100 cars
08:27 PM CST on Thursday, February 21, 2008
WWLTV. com
A husband, wife and their two sons were arrested and charged with selling stolen cars through an elaborate ruse that included changing vehicle identification numbers, according to the
St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office. Glenn Trahan, 58; his wife Natalie, 45; and their two teenaged sons may have stolen over 100 cars, according to sheriff Jack Strain.
Strain said the criminal enterprise involved the entire family. "Both kids drove stolen automobiles to school," he said. "This is not something that is by chance, this is a family business."
Strain said eleven stolen vehicles were recovered recently, and that all had their vehicle identification numbers changed. Strain said that a wrecked truck on the Trahan property had been purchased and that its VIN was taken and changed with a stolen truck’s number, making the stolen vehicle appear to be legitimate.
"If you have purchased an automobile or any item from these individuals, you need to contact us immediately," said Strain, who said the auto was most likely stolen.
According to Strain, many of the cars were stolen south of the lake, had their VINs changed and then re-sold on the Northshore.
