While everybody is down there look for for my uncle in a silver 89 mustang. Has a SBC 385 with 101mm turbo making 1350 to the wheels. Is good for more but that is all he needs right now he says. He is gonna turn down the boost for 10's and then run a 79 vette with a 372, rear mount turbo in the 11.00 class and try to get in one or the other.

Yeah my uncle is clay. He is trying to sell the vette. I don't know if the mustang is for sell or not. I want to eventually start a turbo project with his help. He knows his stuff thats for sure..

Same here Jet. People bought up tickets with no plans to race and that screwed guys like us out of em. They prolly wouldn't have picked my class anyway.
on a side note though, rrr had a million cars there tonight! I got there at around 6 and left at about 11:45-12 and I only got 2 passes! $10 bucks a pass. we sat in the staging lanes for over 2 hours on the last pass finally said screw it, loaded up and came home. I should have road over to monroe like I thought about

Prescott is going to start running T&T on sunday's starting in April If ya'll want to try it out then let me know and we can meet up and run some 1000ft. races. Not quite the same as 1/4 mile but you get plenty of time to tune on your setup and they prep the track well everytime.

Man I here ya about only gettin in two friggin runs all night long and just sittin there waitin for the retards to get things going again . That was what I went through last time I went to that friggin track only I got ONE ******* pass for my twenty dollars. I sat waiting for two solid hours just to attempt to make my second pass. As we inched forward sure as hell some ***** would break or drop oil on the track. The least little excuse they would take thirty to forty five minutes to clean & inspect the track. Now I'm all for safety but hell , almost an hour to clear the damn track. Come on you people , your gonna have to do a whole lot better than that . Do you think Pinks is gonna put up with that ? Hell no ! And we locals shouldn't have to either. Hire a bigger crew, get some damn communication between your employee's and buy some equipment to speed up any clean-ups. Many of us racers & spectators simply will not put up with that many long delays between runs period.
