That is the truth. I will call you tomorrow when I get off. Figured I would put a coat on it to see what it would do. I figure I will be off around 3 or so, so be ready by then. Remind me to tell you about my springs tomorrow, definantly worth a laugh.
ive used wolf muffler on several occasions. originally wasnt happy with them, but they first guy that worked on my car is no longer employed with them. ever since then they have been top notch for me. im very picky and tend to stand there and make sure its how i want it. probably makes them mad, but in the end im the one that has to live with it. even still, their welds look good and ive seen several pretty high dollar cars in there getting exhaust on them and dont figure people would trust them to do it if the work was lousy overall. plus they have helped me in a bind when my ******* pacesetter headers **** the bed and welds started breaking and things falling off them. id avoid swain and sons. had them do some work and their welds werent even sealed and were so bad i couldnt even get my bolts to sit right in the flanges. when i went back to them they pretty much told me that was the best they could do and wouldnt refund me anything for having to pay to get their shitty work fixed. will never again upon pain of death use them. ill use duct tape first! as far as stereo stuff, all i can really say is stay away from jimmy's. WAY too pricey there. beyond that im not too sure. might be better off to go to ATL and have a well known place up there do it. i find it hard to trust much craftsmanship coming from shops in columbus. nothing against you oultaw, havent seen or dealt with you yet so dont take offense to that!
hey Craig, this friday is May 7th! you going to the track? lol
perhaps you havent been keeping up with things, but craig's foot is in a cast because of surgery and he cant exactly drive anywhere let alone race.....

So who's all going to G14? I'm debating on whether or not i want to pre-register.....Any of you gone to it before? is it really worth it to pre-register?
It would be worth it to go. It's usually a pretty good turnout, but last year wasn't all that great. You get to meet a lot of cool people too. Usually a group of people from Panama City drive up to Columbus and we all meet up at the rest stop near Veterans with people from all over the place. Then we cruise up to the meet. They all have some pretty bad cars. That's also a great time too see all the "fast" LSX powered cars that Columbus has to offer that you would never see at the local get togethers. Hopefully I can make it this year.....

I can do that....i was thinking you were going to be okay to drive by the 7th. But if you want me to come swoop you up i can. Unless you think it would drive you nuts to see all of us racing while you're sitting on the sidelines. i just need to get some new passes in. That 14.1 is killing me! lol i know my car wasn't running right...but i can't have that as my only recorded time...lol

yeah i kind of want to...but i don't know...my wife's B-Day is the 24th so she kind of wanted to do something that weekend. I might be able to get away with just taking her to that....but that's more of something I wanna do as opposed to something she wants to do....let me know if you hear anything about a cruise heading up there for that...

My wife and I have been on the staff since G2. Travis and the guys from Panama City come thru town Thursday around noon or so heading to the Gathering. Your wife might enjoy it, there is alot to do around Atlanta. We are not going this year, no car so I have lost interest in going. https://ls1tech.com/forums/other-spe...y-28-30-a.html
I am down to go to the track this weekend. I found a plug in when I was down there last time. Grease you got that wideband yet let me know when you want to borrow the hp tuners again.
yeah...i have to get it hooked up first...lol...i didn't realize how much wiring was involved...i thought it was a little more "plug 'n' play". I might have to get you guys to help me out getting it hooked up since i'm not too good with wiring stuff, lol.
also....where's the best place to get the bung welded in at?
oh and Craig, i'll give you a call on like Thursday or Fri then....
don't your headers have place for one already? read into the wiring a little more it is easy a bunch of grounds, one power for the wideband and one power for the gauge. still playing with it I am close though. I am also working on my shift points.
no the headers just came with the bungs for the O2's....i think it might have been an option but i didn't get it cuz i wasn't originally planning on a wideband. I read the instructions for it and it didn't seem too difficult i'm just not too keen on like which ignition source to use and little things like that...finding a ground shouldn't be hard though...and wiring the harnesses together don't seem too difficult either....i'm sure i'd be fine if i did it myself....i'm just a little nervous when it comes to wiring....lol
Craig, axles are out. Going to sand the rear tomorrow, apply 1 more coat to the axle tubs and let it dry. Friday I will sand it again and put the final color on it. Saturday morning I will get everything sealed up and we can cut those brackets. I will take time to wipe the bottom down as well. I will also put the koni's on as well. I will go get some liquid teflon tomorrow and see if I can't find the socket I need to remove that drain plug.

Good to hear you got those axles out because I was in the process of price a axle slide hammer.
