so sheik, how is that swap comin? dont forget to take lots of pics and post them. its the only way ill be able to see now.... got a good size house in tx with a 2 car garage so ill be able to start pulling that old motor apart and getting things ready for a new build. still a little torn between boosted or N/A with spray.....[/QUOT
I got the sheet metal and flat metal tonight. Should have the cooler mounted in a day or two. Got my pedals today and a whole lot more so a big thanks to 2slow. Tim, you need to let me come check out some of your projects sometime. I will get a pic sent to you when I get the cooler moounted, going to leave the nose off so I can check for any leaks from the cooler.

yeah that intake is bad ***...but at just under $4,000...its definately not worth it....and the little bit of research i did on it confirmed that it is indeed a PITA to tune...
but yeah...it does look awesome...i would consider it if it was like maybe $600 or so...but otherwise it doesn't seem worth it...you could add boost for that price....or even a direct port nitrous system for cheaper...

That intake is not tooo bad to tune. I seen one a zo6 getting tuned and the biigest issue was part throttle crusing. Other than that the z made over 620 na at 7.5 k

Can anyone help me diagnosis what's wrong with my 92' because it just started whistling in the engine bay. And every time I step on the gas and let off a wooshing sound comes from the car like it's sneezing. Please help me figure this out.
Also when I put the vac gauge on it and take it for a drive I'm seeing like 10lbs. boost. And now I need new tires, my manifold pressure sensors flashing warning on my touch screen, and my passenger side floor board dropped out dumping all my washers and bolts on the ground. Man what am I going to do? LOL!
Oh yeah, Ron I'm going to beat the brakes off you " Biscuit Head"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't be scared of a stock 92 TPI car (on some boost)?

Removed the a/c and alt so I fot more room to do the motor mounts. Worked on my wiring harness alittle and depeinned and removed connectors that I didn't need. All I need to do is use Craigs vice so I can make the brackets to hold the cooler. I got the console out, need to get the tranny out so I can cover the hole and mount the shifter.

Yeah that's cool man. I'm not too far from Oklahoma and I go up there occasionally with a couple of friends so that's not a problem. But yeah, it would be cool if you could get in touch with him for me. My room mate hit my car and demolished my quarter panel lol.
