Well, the T-56 has been mocked up, new pedals are in, old auto stuff is out. Hole has been cut and modified for lower shift boot. Ecu still needs to be rewired and flywheel and clutch are going in and new tick master cylinder. Just found out the other day that the stock panhard bar was bent so a new UMI piece is in the mail. Should be done soon.

Before I was running the stock trans I sold you that was slipping pretty badly. Also just had a lil crappy 3200 TCi street fighter. Best time w/ cam and stall was 7.67 at 89ish iirc with a 1.8 60'. Light launch, slip bad from 1st to 2nd, and the rest of the run went smoothly even though it was the first time at the track and I think I let out that run before the traps. Alot of excuses I know but I've only been down the track a handful of times...

Wow bro, your car runs hard! Thanks for posting up! I look forward to chilling with the you guys here soon and getting some runs in against that non-cammed beast. If I loose, I'll probably shoot myself haha. Well while I'm thinking about it I'll post up the changes with my car I got coming also.
Hotchikis springs(thanks Sheik!), more suspension(adj shocks, lca, ect.), a lil diet, 4.10 motives, fresh tune, slp grill, weld wheels, built 10 bolt, and later next year some prc heads, nitrous and maybe a built shortblock.

The last three are def later. I need to get use to the power I have because for a cam only, this is the fastest car I've ever owned and it boils these 26" tall tires on the street.

I'll be sure to, since I'm the one doing it.

Yep, there were some 98's that were unusually fast for some reason. My 98 SS (at the time) was making 15-20rwhp than everybody else's car, and I ran 12.20's @ 114mph stock internals. Just some shitty Macs, 2.5 ORY, lid and a pulley. No ported TB, no tuning, nothing. Later on in life I pulled the cam out of that motor and it wasn't the matching part # for 98 LS1 camshafts, but I never did look into it to find out what it really was. Who knows...

Stevens car is coming along. I'm running a 3 man show all by myself, so sometimes a big build takes some time. I've had a TON of walk-in stuff this week which has slowed me down. But she'll be on the road soon. Can't rush art.

Got a trans coming from RPM, going with a level 5. Thanks for recommending them Damian. Wiring harness, converter, shifter, and tranny crossmember and I will have everything, Oh pedals which I am getting from 2slow. Going to go with a B&M Hammer shifter.

Good deal. RPM isn't the cheapest by any stretch, but if you want a 4L60E that's guaranteed to handle a lot of abuse that's the way to go.

They gave me a killer deal, got it cheaper and free shipping. I just got a pm from Jeremy saying it was completed and dyno'd and will be on it's way tomorrow. Need to find out if they have a perfered cooler. I know he told me to put the biggest one I can on the car and use some good fluid and it should live a long time.

I was talking to Josh about your conversion I am glad to see it is coming together. BTW I took your advice (about SP being great) and had Josh tune my car, he is a great guy and a great tuner. Thanks for the recommendation now again if I could get him to relocate to Columbus for the blower update!

You won't really need "the biggest cooler you can find" but a decent sized one will get the job done. Steven's car had a rather "small" 11"x8" B&M cooler and ran at a nice cool 160-170 degrees with the stock trans after I built it the first time. You don't want the trans running much cooler than that because the fluid will not get hot enough to do it's job.

On fluid, if you want the best I would run Amsoil. It's expensive, but your trans will last forever. I can get it locally through my trans builder.
