For some odd reason I can't get this car to go back into open loop. I don't know what we did Craig but I have followed that printout several times and it doesn't work. Hard to try and learn when LTFT's are maxed at 25 and STFT's are making adjustments. I'll load the original tune tables into the supposed SD tune and try again. Really starting to get to the point where I am tired of spending time and money on the car.

sounds a lot like the car one of my soldiers had....he sold it to someone else on post.....it the cowl says "stroker" it's the same one. supposeddly has a 383 in it.....i don;t think so...i was gonna race him but he sold the car before i could. i've been trying to get my sodier to give some info on that dude so i can race since my soldier thinks that car would smoke mine.....but i don't think it really is a 383....so i know i would get it...

not really planning on messing with it right now. my 95 hawk is much faster anyway, so im gonna stick with modding it till i get it where i want. no reason to mod a one of one collectors car if i dont need to.

hey sheik, you still got that air lid? if so will it connect up to a stock MAF? if you have the stuff, PM Me a price on it.... lol

Let me know when a good time will be to pick it up. I will be free all day Sunday, thats when I'll be in lagrange. Friday night I will be here and plan on going to sonic. I will bring the parts then if you are coming up.

Nope was going to use it on the 97 but did the ultraz hood instead. It is still in the plastic as a matter of fact unless I took it out when I was home.

Sounds good. I will be working Friday, but Langrange should work out good. I don't have to work Sunday. The trans will not be in a case, I have to save the case for my RPM Level 5 because I might be converting to six speed soon.

That's fine, out of curiosity what are your plans for the car? If your looking for the fastest time possible at the drag strip stick with the auto. Its a lot easier to set it up then a 6 speed car.

I know for sure the 92 has a chance to beat the brakes off you now. Because all that stall is going to do is make you slower LOL. Just kidding man It should make some improvement, but don't get excited until the cam is in to make good use of the stall.

lol...yeah i know....even then i don't have too high of hopes w/o having 3.73's in the back....man....this car is becoming such a money pit....i liked it better when i was much more ignorant about cars and thought i would just have to add a stall and cam and i would be alright....but no....you get one thing you need another to get the most out that first part....and so on.....
i need gears, a torque arm, a nice set of big and littles with some sticky tires....and if i really wanna go fast a nice set of heads and some nitrous.....
plus i want to get a line lock also.....so much to do.....lol.....

hey sheik, what year did you buy that SLP lid to fit? they have a 98-99 and a 2000-02. if its a 2000-02 i might take that off your hands if you are willing to part....

Your completely right about the car becoming a money pit. One thing is for sure, the parts you choice to install on your car need to compliment each other in order achieve your desired goals. You don't need an aftermarket torque arm to do that. My buddy in florida with the TA has been doing 10's with the stocker for at least 12 yrs now. But you do need some tires and some gears though. Your doing fine just don't get caught up in what you read in mags and on tech boards like this one because there is a lot more misinformation than good on here at times.

Damn dude, that's how it starts...I feel bad for you!! Quit hanging out with Craig he's a bad influence. But on a serious note, you still have time to get out with your pocketbook and life intact. Just sell the car and never look back, seriously..
Think it's a money pit now, I just paid 800 bucks for a trans that slips in second gear. I dunno what I'm gonna do, the guy wants it back but I work so much it's kinda hard to drop the trans and meet him in Georgia.
I know this damn GM stuff is so addicting, I need to stop but I just bought some more suspension crap. And I'm either about to build another trans or convert to six speed. Also bidding on a fast setup, damnit, I need to sell this car!!!
