yeah most definately....i don't trust most of the idiots on these tech boards.....i just use the info as basic guidelines and then do the research myself and ask lots of questions and get lots of different opinions....seems to be working for me so far....

the tires will probably have to wait until next spring.....and probably gears too...we'll see....as nice as it is using all the extra money i save up on my car i want to make sure i save some and spend some on the family to....i know you feel me on that....

and shiek, yeah, i definately plan on getting the SLP line lock....especially after you posted how easy the install was...

You work in 203rd right? How do you get in that building? Just go through the gate and into the big door?

does anyone want to go to sonic friday, i wanted to go out last weekend but the rain on base was way to bad for me to see so i said **** it.... oh and does anyone have a harness bar they want to sell before i buy the 6LE on?? im getting the rear seat delete panels ordered tomorrow after work.

so i was planning on running a 408 this spring but im just going to go cheap and do a tsp 383 crank and pistons with maybe the compstar rods and shaft, im not trying to make the most power just want it to be a little more safer on the n2o

Hey craig what helps out with wheel hop, i know you told me to get some lca's anything else?

For wheel hop you need lca's. You got relocation brackets already so you should be good to go. If you do lca's and it still hops then play with tire pressure. I will get alittle if I run 35 psi in the rear tires so I stay around 32 in the rear.

hey mike...thanks for the offer....but i'd really rather not put 4.10's in the rear with me being an auto.....if this wasn't my daily driver i probably would but....3.73's is about as high as i'm willing to go...and i'm a little hesitant about that even, lol....

but yeah...LCA's will help the wheel hop....that's why i got them....and they are cheap too if you go non-adjust.

i'll be out friday....of course...lol....but i doubt i will stay out late since i gotta get up early to work on the car Sat. i'm cool with you stopping by.... but it's not my shop though...

LCA's is one of the best fixes for wheel hop. All wheel hop is LCA's flexing. A set of relocation brackets wont hurt either. You'll have best performance from relocation brackets if your car was lowered, otherwise you'll be wasting your money. The relocation brackets corrects the suspension geometry after lowering the car. LCA's mount in two location, on the chassie itself and on the axle. The axle mounting point needs to be lower than the front mounting point to maintain proper geometry. But to say you need relocation brackets when the car is not lowered is up in the air, but I've also seen people run good times at the track on stock suspension just with LCA's and no relocation brackets

yeah...i'm thinking about picking up some relo. brackets just for GP....they are not expensive so i figure it couldn't hurt....but i wanna play around with tire psi and launching before i pull the trigger on it...

I would take the car to the craft shop on base. I don't know about you installing auto's on the floor is not cool. Done that and got the t-shirt the craft shops opens at 1100. It really doesn't matter what time start it'll be hot already. But serious fellas I would use the craft shop they have everything you need and oh yeah they have a lift too!!!!!!!

V6 springs seem to be the cheap ticket for the rear. Ron, car is on the hill on the other side of the parking lot. I walked through that MP and bays and couldn't find you.

yeah, but tim's shop is right down the road from me...and it can't be no worse than dropping a HMMWV trans once the car is on jack stands.....and i do that all the time...well used to anyways....don't get much wrench turning time anymore...lol....plus, don't you have to pay to use the craft shop/use the tools? i know when i was in Germany you did...it was cheap...but still...
