Reynolds was a disappointment they forgot that their a drag strip not an ice rink. Slipperiest track I've ever been on.

I couldn't hook worth a damn out there either. I had too many variables working against me out there.

 

Thanks I've seen you drive through sonic a couple times but you never stopped. Stop by some time.

 

Were you guys on street tires? I went out there one time and did see a lot of cars slipping around and one hit the wall. Every other time it looked solid.

 

I was on BF Goodrich TDW's kinda borderline between DR and street tire, but I had success with them at that track a few months ago.

 

Well I ran those nitto NT05Rs. They supposed to be more stickier than the 555Rs. Even with a good burnout, I was still roasting the tires off the line.

I tried the nitto 555r's a long time ago. I heard you got to heat them up really good to work. Looks like it is time to go to a better tire. I got to figure out what size and which tire to use.

 

Yea true. I heated them up real good. Still spinning like a top. Im definately will be running some slicks.

 

There were some cars on slicks getting loose out there, I was breaking loose in fourth gear.

 

Nope Columbus sonic on exit 10, maybe it wasnt you but there is a yellow ceta that swings through every once in a while.

 

Yea i figured u live in columbus, Pillion. Just had to be sure. I might go to that atlanta dragstrip. That reynolds track had me thinking something was wrong with my car. I should be running faster than what I was running friday night.

 

That was my third time there and its usually not like that must of just been a bad night.

 

Their track prep is alot less predictable on T-N-T nights. On actual operating days it's usually a pretty sticky track.

 

U know what i was just thinking the same thing. On TNT, they probably dont give a damn. But on the major events, they make it sticky.

 

LOL It's wierd how I've been to Putnam county and had problems hooking up a high 8 sec / eigth mile bolt on TPI Formula with 3.27 gears and drag radials....and on the same night...in the same lane.....saw cars cutting 1.35-1.4 sixty foot times and standing on the bumpers.

 

Just ordered my PST one piece drive shaft, with a GeForce 1320 billet pinion yoke. Now all I need is some inner splines, gears and axles and I'll be ready for some slicks and rev limiter launches...
