If this was the case why NOT jump on every street race then?
If he leaves after you jump him you already have 2-3 cars on him and since a chase is a race you will most likely beat him.
If we play by your rules, we will just have a re-do and keep jumping until he leaves.
There has to be a consequence for jumping someone, plain and simple.
Hell, even PINKS wont let you have a re-do if you jump.

As for that pinks crap that guy contradicts himself. There have been times he has let a re-do if the person jumps and sometimes he has not.
