I talked with Tommy W. yesterday. He claimed Redell is scared to race him since he (Tommy)
raced a car from TX that was affiliated with Redell and beat him.
Tommy said he is going to the track but was clueless about a grudge race with Redell.
Just informing you guys that may be driving a ways to watch, I doubt its going to happen.

There was a nice crowd, some very nice cars and some good racing.
Tommy and Redell = never happened but like Mark said... there was still some nice races.
Tommy raced a guy for a grand.... Guy jumped.... Tommy didn't budge other guy wouldn't pay up.
In a street race everyone knows if the other car jumps and you follow "a chase is a race" and you better be able to come around him or you lose.
On the same token if you jump and the guy you race does not budge you LOSE!
Thats what happened tonight.
Tommy raced this guy and before the flagman's hand even reached the up position the other car was gone.
The other guy wanted a re-do lol. He claimed on the street you would just re do it.
That makes absolutely no sense.
So basically if the rules were like that the strategy would be to always jump, 90% of the time the other car is going to follow off of instinct so "a chase is a race" since you jumped you already got a car or two on the other guy.... I mean the worst that could happen would be the other guy wouldn't budge at the light and you would just have to have a re-do!
I guarantee if the game would have went the other way, ie: "Tommy jump" the other boys would have came back with their hands out looking for the cash.

But take my word, the flags weren't even up before he jetted.
On a good note, this event drew a large crowd and hopefully SCR will hold events like this monthly.
Admission was 5.00 PER vehicle, it didn't matter if you have a bus load of people it was only 5 bucks.... NO RULES at all, no tech in...No lights... No times..
It was exactly how it would be on the street the only difference is no looking for cops lol.
I think the next event will cost per person... still a hell of a deal if you ask me.

I don't know where you race but if one person jumps and the other person does not move there is no race. Both cars line it up again. This is the street race creed that I know. I have watched and been involved in some high dollar street races and never heard of this. The only one I know is a chase is a race.

I have watched and been involved in some high dollar street races and never heard of this. The only one I know is a chase is a race.
If he leaves after you jump him you already have 2-3 cars on him and since a chase is a race you will most likely beat him.
If we play by your rules, we will just have a re-do and keep jumping until he leaves.
There has to be a consequence for jumping someone, plain and simple.
Hell, even PINKS wont let you have a re-do if you jump.
