just added this SS to my collection.
I have been wanting one since I was 18yrs old making 7.00 an hour as a porter. Well I finally decided I would stop wanting and bought one last Tuesday I have been looking for a few months. Its a 97 camaro SS auto, ttops, charcoal leather, slp single exit exhaust, chrome ss rims looks to be well cared for these are the pics taken at the house we picked it up.

Mine too being my dream car but I have always ended up with something else I should have bought it sooner. This is my first bright red sports car and can't be any happier. I was also looking for a clean ws6 lt1 or a 97 SS ttops white with orange stripes 30th anni but people prices are way up there and I don't know if I could have lived with the houndstooth interior and I did not want a 6 speed thats all I was finding or hardtop you gotta have ttops. But my heart belonged to the red SS thats what I always wanted and it ahd to be bone-stock no mods. I just wanna cruise!!!

The SS I fell in love with back in 1996 was an auto that was my first experience with a SS. I'm keeping the car bone stock this is just a cruiser and grocery getter for me and my wife and daughter. My wife refuses to get in the Hawk she says its to loud and car sick.
looks good, i bought mine thinking it was a z28 just found out yesterday its actually an SS so now im getting an OEM hood finally even though was gonna make it a clone. but now its gonna look like it came from the factory!!!!!!
Good for you, I wonder what happened to the original Hood. I take it your car has the Slp stickers on the door?
nope cant read them, so i called slp and they said oh yea its real and that i can pay 54 dollars to get my b-cert. i said no just needed to see if it was real. but i can get new stickers for the door but they have to quote me. they have to find all the options that came with my car. i bet the previous owner sold the hood for cash.
thanks, well actually i found one! and i will be getting it shortly. yea i bought as a z28 here in az. the best part no rust.
