Im putting this in this section because I'm sure what ever it is its a special edition car.
I'm mainly wanting to know about 4th gens but if the fastest is not a 4th gen then please post that up too. I dont care if only one was made either.
I know GMMG has the phase III Camaro with 600hp but is that it?

1st to 4th gen.The fastest f-body I have heard of is the Baldwin Motion Phase 3 427bb Camaro.Today if you find one of these gems...it will only set you back $400,000(original price:$7,600).These camaros were seriously underated at 500hp and ran low 11's from the factory.

All GMMG ZL1's came with the LS6 as part of the base package-although i'm not sure if any of them still retain them. Over half were upgraded to P3 and many others P2. J.D. would know that info..
There was actually one 01, It was the prototype fitted with an LS6( first year offered in Z06) that Matt used for emissions certification testing. It was also the car that Matt drove down to Daytona for speed weeks in 01. Dale Sr was within a month of launching his own GMMG signature car, and he saw Matt driving it down the paddock while in route to his motor home. Story goes that when Dale saw(and heard) it his eyes widened and he pumped Matt for info on it. After Matt explained the project(remember Dale had just raced the C5R vette in the 24 hr with the same block that was going in the ZL1's) Dale poked him in the chest and said " I want fifty of these Murphy!" He passed just after that and the rest is history.
Mike Carnahan owned that car and sold it a few years ago for like 40k- i still kick myself for not grabbing it as that was the car that got the whole party started with these.

Check out the links above. You'll find total number of cars built. Most were around 600 horsepower with a 350. A few had big blocks with twins on them, these were the 1,000+ cars. The bonneville car was 2200 horsepower
