Default Trans Am headlight conversion

I know the general consensus says they are fugly, but I think those headlight conversions (that replace the popup headlights in the TA) might look half way decent with some headlight shades.

Does anyone have a picture of these mods with shades? Preferably on a black TA with black shades?

I don't think that anyone makes shades/protective covers for the non pop-up style headlights. Ive got those lights on my car, but it's an NBM ta, not a black one. I'll see what I can scrounge up as far as pictures though.

FYI-I hear if you crack one of those lens its like well over $100 for just one lens and the workmanship is subpar at best, for over $1k you would expect better, IMHO

from my thread about them.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearanc...ghts-hawk.html

smoked lens on a hawk

If I got them I would paint the top of them car color to make them more like the 98 SLP firehawk prototype headlights.

my photoshop of that.

Yep, the prototypes were good. The ridiculously expensive ones you can actually get look kinda dumb.
