Composite hood with functional cold air induction scoops, Hood mounted heat extractors, 17"x9" Five spoke painted alumimum wheels, Firestone firehawk tires, Performance stainless steel exhaust system with twin dual tips, Upgraded suspension components, Firehawk plaque and key fob, Friehawk front facia badge, Optional chrome wheels, 1LE Suspension system, Auburn high torque performance differential, Premium floor mats with firehawk logo, Custom fitted car cover. This is what is listed, and what is the composite hood?

These are really the second-sticker added SLP options that will add any value.
"Optional chrome wheels, 1LE Suspension system, Auburn high torque performance differential, Premium floor mats with firehawk logo, Custom fitted car cover."
Those items should all be listed on the passenger side door tag.
Formula base or Trans Am base?
Previous damage?
Items of damage now or need repair? (Door panels cracks? Dash cracks? Chrome wheel barrels pitted & peeling?)
Way too many questions to ask huh, ...
To a buyer, $12k-17K+?
To a seller, $17k-21k+?
Where's it at, & do ya have a weblink or photos?

Im not sure if it is a Formula or a TA based, if i hade to guess i would say formula but not 100%sure. To my knowlegde there has been no damage done to the vehicle, and there is currently none. They said it is #92 of the firehawks and if you need the model number it is 2FV87. It is located in Dubuque Iowa. And thanks for the help.
Here is a link to the dealers website

How many firehawks were made in 2001, and were they sold to slp where they were made into firehawks or did pontiac put this stuff on them?

That car has been on Ebay the last few weeks;
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=200445574343
Ask them if it has the door panel cracks, since you can't see the panels in the photos. (People like to hide shet that way, simply by not showing it.)
It's a Formula Firehawk model.
It's had the decals on the car changed from the original light blue w/green tilde, to the red? decals shown now.
It came from Poynette, WI.
http://www.firehawkowners.com/car/2404.html
There were 540 made in 2001. 39 were White.
http://www.firehawk.com/article/2498.html
Lets see, what else can we tell ya, ...,
Only 5 white M6 cars.
http://www.firehawk.com/images/lit/2001/FH2001B.pdf
And it's the 'only one' in White that had the 1LE with the M6!

Oh, I dunno, ..., I'd stay in that same range, but I don't place value on cars. Buyers do! (Like you!)
What are they askin' for it?
What do feel comfortable spending on it?
Ask them to produce a Carfax report for you before you travel to see it.
(Even Carfax reports don't show everything tho.)
Check to see if the front fender tabs have been bent/damaged before.
That'll tell ya if someone lifted it incorrectly before. (And possibly help you bring the price down more in your favor.)
Check for grease/oil history around the differential. The Auburn package has been known to have some bad history. Especially if someone does not follow the specific directions when re-filling with the proper lube.
It should have the AAM aluminum differential cover since it has the Auburn rear option.

Well I haven't seen it in person yet but hopefully soon. I want to pay as little as possible for it. I just want to make sure I don't pay too much if I do end up getting it.

The decals having been changed indicates to me that the owner did not regard originality very high with this car. I wouldn't be surprised to find aftermarket mods or evidence that mods have been removed.
That SLP emblem on the back is also not stock. I also thought all Formulas had a black center tail light section? This one has a base firebird center tail light panel.
The SLP performance parts sticker and SLP lid under the hood are also not stock items. Again not a big deal but..... this dealership will be asking top dollar that an all stock low mileage car should bring. Not an average mileage messed with car.
Where are the Hawk floormats? Are they under those not stock ones?
Check the speakers as they are probably blown. Dealers and owners always turn the equalizer all the way down to conceal this.
In today's money $15 or less, and it has to be showroom stock with NO issues what so ever.
For me the decals are a deal breaker. Sure you can buy reproductions but I'd really really have to want a white 1LE 6spd formula body to get this one.

the price for firehawks are generally higher than a ws6 or ss because people think they are more collectable because of the lower production #'s.but when i car has 50,000 miles on it the collectability kinda goes out the window.
it help that it has the 1le,but i wouldn't pay more than $14k for it.and that is if it's in perfect condition

Price also depends on where you live. Where I live, they aren't cheap, as there are really none around and are very hard to find. Nicely optioned car though and good luck with your decision.
