I know it's a long shot but if someone has a pair of blackbird floor mats I am very interrested in buying them. Every time I look at my paperwork for my Year One Blackbird and see Blackbird floor mats and then see the mats in my 35th anniversary car it makes me feel like the Year One car is incomplete. I saw a guy post for 35th anniversary mats on this site and someone gave him a place that would make them. Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

Floor mat photo from #38 Bobby Labonte Blackbird.

I just received a photo from YO BB #5 owner & the mats appear to be the same as #38 BB.

Maybe start a list for Blackbird mats & car covers? I know of a number of owners that need them.

Have you tried www.carmotorsports.com? I had them do a custom set for my WS6 and they turned out amazing. I could be wrong but I think GMMG might have had the Blackbird and other car mats done here? Check out their Pontiac section for options.

You are right (Daytona) Jim. You probably remember my telling you that Matt never delivered my Blackbird mats or cover even after promising, repeatedly that they (GMMG) would. And, mine was a brand new build with me being the only owner. Several other parts were promised and never delivered as well.

If ya'll do get an arrangement maybe they should get out brass tag number or something, maybe verified by the registery to protect the real Blackbird owners. I need a vert set.

When I owned a Black Bird several years ago, I contacted Angel at GMMG. She had a set of BB mats in stock so I purchased them. When I received them, I noticed the threading was in terrrible condition and was coming apart. (My original mats looked similar). I spoke with Matt and he said they had some supplier issues when they were ordered. Well I ended up sending those back. However, after seeing them, I believe you could get someone to make them. The embroidered part was similar to a T-shirt embroider. I'm sure someone could recreate the logo and embroider it on a black set of mats.

I agree wakeOO. Someone will be able to do this. It's just a matter of finding the right person and we have some good leads. What about car covers? Does anyone know someone who could make them?

I can check the manufacturer on some of our covers. If a cover company is able to print a logo, then they shouldn’t have a problem printing what is needed. I would think all of the GMMG cars besides the Dick Harrell Editions will use a standard indoor/ outdoor ’93-’02 Camaro/ Firebird cover.

When yall do pursue this, please let me know… we may be interested in getting something.

Thanks wake00. It would be nice to get all this stuff. I will let you know what's up on the floor mats and hopefully you can find out something on the car covers. I also agree with smokie87. They should have to prove GMMG ownership.

I purchased my own "yellow" cover from a place in Marietta (I think it was) about the same time I bought my CETA. I wanted a yellow one to use and planned to keep the CETA Blackbird cover in storage or for special occasions. The plain yellow cover was drop shipped from Cover King in California. I called them about six months ago as well as the place in Marietta where I ordered (a sponsor here). Neither could offer any information. I even asked if they could do the work if I got a GIF and neither seemed interested. Angel and Laurie Dial (at GMMG) kept telling me that mine was "being made". Then I was told that the cover place had lost the GIF file and GMMG was going to send them another one. On and on...
The young lady that was answering the phone at GMMG several months ago was going to look into it but nothing was ever done.
You would think that Matt would atleast tell us where/how to get mats and covers.

OOPS! I should have read my personal messages before I posted. Sometimes a rant is good for the soul.

Also, I forgot about the side emblems that GMMG was going to send me. When Matt delivered my car he said that they were being clear coated. It has been almost three years. Anybody have a spare pair?

I am happy to report that I have solved the floor mat and emblem issue with the Blackbirds!! I now have a set of floor mats in my #4 Year One Blackbird and they look great! For now because all I have is the Blackbird/35th Anniversary edition. But the procese is the same so if we get a list of things for the GMMG camaros then there should be no reason why we can't get these items for them.
