My Firebird Models list says
Troy Craythorn has been an officer in the Capital City Firebirds club (located in California) for several years, and there's a section on their website with a bunch of pictures from when he and two of the other officers drove to Troy, Michigan to pick it up

This is a one of a kind vehicle built by SLP under direction of 20th Century Fox and Marvel Comics. This is the prototype for the 10th Anniversary Firehawk. It had X-Men-themed graphics on the hood and sides.)

I would honestly have the car repainted. I'd drive the car like that twice: straight to my garage, then straight to the paint shop. Looks like the murals that some mexicans have painted on the tailgates of their pickup trucks.
