Default 3rd Gen Firehawk Wheels.

I found a set of these wheels but I have no idea what they're worth. They look like repops but they do have the Firehawk center caps. Anyone out there know how to ID these things? And if they're worth buying? They are being sold at $300.

I posted this in your other thread as well:

However, I do not know if there is a way to tell "original '92 run" wheels from sets that Ronal has produced since then. Fact is, assuming they are making them to the exact same standards, I don't think there would be any value difference since it's still from the original manufacturer.

I have a set on my Formula... They are worth about $1000-1400 depending on condition. As for reproduction, I feel as long as they are made by Ronal it doesn't really matter too much. I have no clue how to Identify which batch they were made from though. Sorry... My center caps just say SLP.

Here are a few pictures of my ride for those unfamiliar with the wheels... Hope you don't mind...

Agreed.

They also work well on a Trans Am.

for $300 bucks I would buy them, they only came on two model years
and only 750 cars total. They are one of the best looking for an LT1 Transam, Firebird, Firehawk.

OER is offering the Firehawk wheels again, not sure if it's Ronal producing them or not. There was a local white 91-92 Z28 with those wheels with white accents, car looked killer.

They have been listed for a year or two now and they just put you on back order... I have been trying to get a set to put slicks on...

I might get them if they are there another week. Won't be paying $300 though.

As long they don't show any major repairs I would definitely get them.
