So the window sticker denotes LT1, and the dealership invoice details some LT4 components and labor to install before it was delivered.

Nice car, but I would NEVER let a dealership touch a brand new car, let alone dig into it that deep. I even get nervous when they have to check the oil during PDI for fear they might put a kink in the dipstick.

To be fair, no 4th-gen f-body had RPO "LT4" on the window sticker (or RPO decal if that is what you were referring to), even the ones that did receive a legitimate LT4 transplant by SLP prior to delivery to its new owner / dealer (i.e.: SS/Firehawks).

Zombie thread, interesting though.

As far as letting a dealer work on a car..... If they installed all of the parts and warranted them and the whole car still I'd let them do it. Installing stuff like that yourself would likely void the warranty.

I'd like to see a picture of the window sticker if it's still around.

Car has been sold fellas, and yes I did verify before I sold it....was a factory LT1 ws6 car that had an LT4 top end kit installed by the dealer. Definitely different, especially for a low mile car.
