I heard this the other day about Firehawk's and I feel it to be a rumor...

Someone told me that the person who built the car at SLP signs the underside of the hood in silver sharpie. I've never seen anything about this on the forums, nor have I seen anything on my hood. The only thing I can think of is that they might have done this on the earlier Firehawk models?

maybe some cars have it but 99 percent dont have anything signed on them .

very interesting. Are you the original owner? I've heard of some cars being signed at a later date. But if it came from the factory like that, that's very cool.

Ed Hamburger , the godfather of the Firehawk and his son David signed under some of the hoods, not all of them. If you go to the Annual Firehawk Rally held yearly in-cunjunction with the Ames Pontiac Nationals in Norwalk, OH You can have Dave sign it. I Dont believe having the signature has any bearing on value (yet) but its an added cool factor!
