The ZL1 was still done by GMMG, along with the Hot Rod, Blackbird, Dick Harrel etc. Even if they were for a certain car dealership, they were done by the same company. And did u get urs from Berger Chevrolet? The ZL1s that I have seen in person all had By Berger on the rear.

No I did not purchase mine from Berger Chevy.
You are correct Phoenix57 they all were built by GMMG. Same as the SS being built by SLP but know one cares about that.
I love my car. Wether GMMG built it or not. It is awesome.

There is hope
You can get the package still in Bird form if you have one of the Blackbird models. Yes got it straight from the horses mouth. Matt Murphy at GMMG. I will be sending my Blackbird in early next year for Phase 2 upgrading, and yes you can upgrade to Phase 3 but its a little pricey and 600hp is not what I'm looking for in street use. From what I understand as long as the parts are still avalible for the mods they can do the upgrade. So yes there is hope. You just need to go out and find you a Blackbird.

arent all ZL1's different some came wiht cutouts some had different rears some had different wheels tires features colors signatures and other lil crap....basicaaly keep it simple appearance wise....Hockey stripes, ZL1 hood, (TTII's Cragar SS Z06 HRE and i believe Smoothie as well? rims) spoiler drop, and GMMG catback alone
thall do it for exterior look....oh and well the grille too....but thats nothing needed especially if your state requires front license plates....
performance wlll your already heading your own way...i woudl do it just like the ZL1 Supercar...427 stroker...however im getting a surpirse for the girlfriedn.....getting her a rally red 2002 Camaro SS (hoping 35th Anniversary but if not...ill amke it look like one) if anyone knows of any posts where soeme company wants aftermarket body styling ideas please PM a link to me) but yes overall...i have several ideas for both her car and mine as well....jsut a matter of money :'(
mine comes first tho (QTP or Kooks LT's Catted Y cutouts GMMG 455 stroker suspension pulleys t-stat the works)

I talked to a few of the guys with the Phase III and they said it ain't bad to drive, and can still get 22mpg on the highway. Yellowhammer, that sound right? I know that the phase III was around 30000 if im not mistaken, so im guessing the upgrade on a blackhawk would be around there.

I actually found a picture of the official sheet that had the stuff a ZL1 had. If someone can tell me how to post pictures, i can show it. It shows everything a ZL1 package had, helpful for the person that started this thread. And the ZL1 package was 43,000 on top of 23,000 for the base camaro, and the phase III was a bit over 20,000.
