19 here.. bought my ws6 with a check. i waited till i saved enough money to buy it since i know i wouldnt be able to save as much if i took out a loan or something. i have another car as the daily driver and have the ws6 as a weekend driver and it actually costs me less for insurance on the 2 cars than it would if i just insured the ws6. i also have a low mileage discount on the car, and i pay about 1800 for 6 months for both cars, 1100/6 mos in the winter when the ws6 is under suspense... (1 at fault accident when i was 16, and no speeding tickets)...
ive been lucky with having high paying jobs for my age, but if u have a good steady job it should be affordable

I'm 23 and I got my WS6 a month or two before I turned 22 will be have had the car about 2 years come june. Put only 2 grand down and my payments aren't too bad, and with full coverage on it and only liability on my daily driving crustang i'm paying 170 a month. as long as you can find a job where one week's pay can cover your car payment which you shouldn't be hard, it shouldn't be a problem. The hard part is getting extra money for mods..

hey i am 24 and i am gettign along fine! Heck my car paymen is not but 250 per mont hbut i financed for 6 years! You can do it and still have $ left for modding!

i would definatley get it. i bought an 02' sunset orange camaro ss m6 off the showroom floor when i was 18> i'm 21 now and every body i've met apreciates the car, so i'm not sure if you would have to worry about any body ****** it up. i live in philladelphia, pa, and i've never had a problem. i drive mine everyday, not worrying about how many miles i'm putting on it because i'll never get rid of it. if u get that car--do this- pull away from a light in first and ease it up to 3500rpm's then stomp it to the floor. by the time 2nd gear comes up, i'm sure you'll agree with me. good luck

I'm 22, and have a 1999 WS.6 TA. I got it finally payed off towards the end of this past summer. My car notes were barely above $450 a month, but i was almost doubling that every month to pay it off early. Best mod i ever did

I paid 320 a month for insurace until just a few months ago when I turned 21, same with one of my friends. It dropped to 191 a month now.

im 20 and pay right at 300 a month for mine. during the week i drive it at minimum 60 miles a day (half freeway, half surface streets), sometimes a good bit more on weekends. i've learned to drive extremely defensive on the freeways and not mash the throttle (even though i don't think i do it enough ) hopefully my insurance will go down a tad after my 21st soon.

Now heres my problem. I have a loan on my cavalier right now. I need to sell it before I get my TA in 3 weeks. Problem is she isn't selling!! I'm starting to freak out. Shes been in the newspaper for over a week, no calls, been on ebay a week, no bids yet (1.5 days to go), and I just put her on autotrader online this week. NOTHING

I just wanna drop this car!

I got my 2002 Firehawk about 5 days before my 20th birthday...im now almost 22 in a couple months...I got it myself and pay $643 a month...I know what your thinking but I only have one more year left....and Im starting to pay double my principle so I will done in 6 months...I wnated to get it over with..Goodluck and have fun with yours... I will be waiting for the z07 in about 2years...

I am 21 and got my car 8 months ago,2000 ws6 black on black 6 speed just like i wanted.with 10,243 miles on it flawless and completely stock for 16,500.I pay 355 a month and sold my last car 88 transam to my brother who pays me directly 150 a month.so i got myself to only paying about 205 a month.The only sad thing is it has been sitting in storage for the last 6 months because new york weather sucks.Now that i have the car i recommend one to everyone,and would pay 20,000 for one if i had to no prob even with 50k miles.they are fun buy one.
