Whats rarer? Berger or Ernhardt?
I was looking on ebay and they have both a Dale Ernhardt edition and a Berger edition on there i was wondering which one is rarer and which do you guys think is a bigger potential for a collector car?
Also how rare is the Black bird ive only seen maybe one or two on ebay.
I guess this is Pretty rare Berger
Dale Ernhardt

Two prototypes and 83 numbered cars were built (car #13 was not built)
Maybe we should teach the White Book how to add?

You're right J.D., it doesn't add up to 84 and I noted that the first time I saw those numbers. My guess is that since the 2 prototypes were not offered for sale to the public, they were not included in the production count. Last I heard, the 00 proto was with Dale Jr. Don't know about the other.
As for the #13 car.....OH BOY.....thats' opening a real can of worms! Some say it was built, others say no. Some say it was built as a convertible, others say if it was - it was destroyed. I ain't getting into that controversy on this public forum.
Enjoy that ZL1.

There has always been contention as to "if" the Prototypes were or were not part of the "production numbered" cars.
Reason why I say that is there are only "100" production "numbered" Berger SS's. Now I know of "1" extra 2002 that Matt Berger had made that is not numbered . . So the White Book says there are 104 Berger SS's . . 100 produced, 3 Prototypes and Matt's 2002 = 104 . . . ?
So for the Intimidator's are there 83, produced and 1 Prototype?

Two proto Intimidators that I know of. One is a 2000, the other a 2001. To my knowledge, neither are numbered. Highest number in my registry so far is car #55.
How many numbered cars were actually built? Seems only a few people know and they ain't talking for whatever reason.
TO EVERYONE: Please let me know of any Intimidators that you know of. I'd like to include them on the registry which is strictly confidential any only shared with other owners.
Thanks for any help folks.

I would buy the Ernhardt before a Berger, just because of the man himself. But if I had my ultimate choice in cars it would be a ZL1, any year, any color, any stage.
